NutriMirror is a free website for diet and weight loss tracking. Tools and calculators are available on the website to make tracking and weight loss easier. There are no products for sale on the official website’s front page, but we assume the diet website is selling or promoting something to pay for website costs and maybe make a profit from dieters. Dieters simply sign up for a membership and enter food and exercise. The program tracks total caloric intake, total caloric expenditure and a long list of food items like fat, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. There is nothing spectacular about the website that dieters cannot find on other free sites with the same calculators and tracking tools.

Weight loss, food and exercise tracking website.

Product Features

It is a known fact that tacking food and exercise will help the dieter stick with a weight loss plan, as long as it is done daily without fail. As soon as the dieter stops tracking, they may find calorie creep causes hunger and weight gain, which leads to an emotional detachment from the diet or exercise program the problematic yo-yo effect. NutriMirror is not a new concept, there are plenty of free websites that offer the same tools for dieters and all have one main problem – time.

It takes a huge amount of time to search each food and record everything eaten during a given day. Dieters working the family / work / life balance often have no free time to track three meals, two snacks and one workout session every day. This is in addition to writing down all the foods and serving sizes throughout the day on a piece of paper.

Some weight loss tracking websites offer a mobile application for smartphones to make tracking easier, but we did not find such an application mentioned on the NutriMirror website. The website is free, however, so the dieter could write down food and exercise for an entire week and track each day on the weekend to gain a weekly perspective on diet and weight loss.

The NutriMirror store sells a variety of workout and fitness equipment. This must be where the revenue comes from on the website. The products tend to be based on other popular equipment and the prices are higher than many dieters would like to pay.
