What You Should Know
Obestrim is one of those supplements that makes a strong effort to gain popularity with social media and an official website, but offers no clinically proven effect on weight loss. There is just one ingredient in the formula – Arexis Garcinia RX. The RX does not mean the ingredient requires a prescription, but the dieter is expected to think the supplement is as strong as prescription weight loss drugs. This is marketing scheme some companies use to sell more supplements, but it is not a trustworthy practice. We found the single ingredient listed on the official website, but we also found a secondary ingredient list that revealed even more trouble.
List of Ingredients
- Green Tea Extract
- Arexis Garcinia RX
- 1, 3 Dimethylamylamine
- Caralluma Fimbriata
- Garcinia Cambogia Extract
- Konjac Root Fiber
- Lotus Leaf Extract
The official website for Obestrim lists just one main ingredient. There are other ingredient lists online, however, with more than one ingredient. We are not sure which ingredient list is correct, so we have to assume there is more than one ingredient.
Arexis Garcinia RX does not appear in any medical literature. We believe this is another name for garcinia cambogia or a derivative of this ingredient. The only supplement on the market with this ingredient is Obestrim and it has not been clinically reviewed.
1, 3 dimethylamylamine is a stimulant that may cause heart palpitations. Garcinia cambogia is another stimulant that may cause liver damage. Konjac root is a form of fiber used to suppress appetite.
If you are a dieter with heart problems or you are taking prescription medications, it is highly important to review the ingredient list before taking a fat burner or weight loss supplement. Obestrim may look nice on the Internet, but it contains ingredient that could cause harmful side effects, including symptoms of a heart attack. Never take a supplement with stimulants without consulting your physician.
- Ingredients are listed online.
- Multiple ingredient lists are found online.
- The supplement markets as if it is a prescription medication.
- The official website does not explain Arexis Garcinia RX.
- Could cause negative side effects for some dieters.
Obestrim is another stimulant fat burner with a ton of dangerous ingredients and no real proof of product claims. The fact that the company tries hard to market the product as a prescription medication alternative is one of the main reasons we tell dieters to skip this product.
