Organic Bowel Cleanse Review
What You Should Know
Organic Bowel Cleanse is a colon cleansing supplement offered by Renew Life. The organic name is a huge selling point for some consumers, but Organic Bowel Cleanse is not 100% organic. The ingredient list includes at least two ingredients without the organic brand. That means the entire supplement should be considered not organic. Renew Life lists all ingredients, supports online ordering and offers customer reviews for most products.
List of Ingredients
Proprietary OTF Blend: Organic Oat Bran, Organic Flaxseed, Organic Acacia Fiber, FOS, Rhubard Root, Cinnamon Bark. Proprietary PhytoSorb Blend: Organic Ginger Root, Organic Fennel Seed, Cellulase, Papaya Leaf, Organic Cayenne Pepper, Organic Coriander Seed, Organic Cumin Seed, Gentian Root, Organic Black Pepper, Organic Peppermint Leaf and Organic Spearmint Leaf. Organic Marshmallow Root, Organic Slippery Elm Bark and Okra.
Despite the huge colon cleansing craze in the weight loss community, Organic Bowel Cleanse does not claim to increase weight loss. Instead, the online description states the supplement is a natural laxative. Several customer reviews claim the formula to be gentle and effective, which is another positive. If a dieter were to use the Organic Bowel Cleanse product, it should be noted that colon cleansing does not produce long term weight loss. Instead, laxative and diuretic ingredients push water from the body and cause a brief reduction in weight. As soon as the supplement is ceased, the weight will return.
Organic Bowel Cleanse does not include Psyllium, Senna or cascara sagrada – these are common ingredients in other colon cleansers. Instead, magnesium and rhubarb are used to induce bowel movements. There is one concern with the Organic Bowel Cleanse product and that is the title “organic”. Several of the ingredients are not organic and thus the entire formula should be considered not organic. Organic Bowel Cleanse sells for $18.99.
- No harsh stimulant laxatives are used in the formula.
- Organic Bowel Cleanse does not claim to increase weight loss.
- Colon cleansers are not appropriate for use as weight loss supplements.
- The formula is not 100% organic.
Organic Bowel Cleanse is an intestinal cleansing supplement that claims only to be a laxative. Most colon cleansers today will jump into the weight loss bandwagon, but Renew Life has not chosen to do that. We commend the company for describing the product honestly. The fact that the word Organic is in the title is a bit confusing for the consumer. This supplement is not 100% organic because not all of the ingredients are marked as such.
Weight loss supplements are more effective for long-term weight loss than colon cleansers. Green tea and chromium are two trusted ingredients that may be included in proven fat burner supplements. Diuretics should be avoided whenever possible.
