Penguin Energy Review
What You Should Know
Penguin Energy is another name for the Penguin Peppermint. Penguin Energy is available online from the Penguin Peppermint website, but the energy mints are not the only products available for sale from the company. You’ll have to click on the Penguin tab to learn more about the Penguin products. What you won’t find is an ingredient list for the Penguin Energy products. We looked through the original, black and red peppermint product descriptions and not one ingredient is listed. There isn’t even a reference to how much caffeine is in one mint or serving.
The website is a bit complicated because there are so many products listed. There are even multiple varieties of the Penguin Energy supplements, including peppermints and chocolates. If you are interested in Penguin Energy products you may want to look for the products in person so you can read the ingredient label.
List of Ingredients
- Natural Flavors
- Artificial Flavors
- Magnesium Stearate
- Potassium Acesulfame
The Penguin Energy product line is all about making energy supplementation quick, easy and tasty. Each mint contains 7 mg of caffeine with 21 mg of caffeine per serving. The entire tin of Penguin Energy mints contains 525 mg of caffeine. You can eat the entire tin throughout the day without seriously negative side effects, but you will likely feel a bit nauseous and have trouble sleeping. In addition to the original mints, the Penguin company also offers cinnamon and chocolate mints and energy gum.
Caffeine is proven to boost metabolism and give the heart that added bump needed to boost energy, but it does not work well as a standalone weight loss supplement. Caffeine can cause increased appetite, which is directly opposite the reason dieters want to take a supplement in the first place.
- There is an official website for Penguin Energy.
- There is an ingredient list for the products on an outside website.
- Caffeine is proven to boost metabolism.
- Caffeine can cause negative side effects for some dieters.
- Without a proven appetite suppressant, caffeine may cause increased hunger.
- Dieters should not use Penguin Energy supplements with other caffeinated supplements.
Dieters looking for a weight loss supplement are not going to find what they are looking for in Penguin Energy products. Penguin Energy is a caffeine product and nothing more. Diet supplements typically include an appetite suppressant, caffeine or other stimulant and proven metabolism boosters like green tea extract. Penguin Energy does not offer this combination in any of the energy products we reviewed.
