Phen357 is weight loss supplement that claims to work better than any prescription weight loss product on the market. The supplement claims to give you the maximum weight loss possible in a legal form. There is mention of the illegal drug “crystal meth” being associated with Ephedra, which is completely true. Ephedra was used to make illegal methamphetamines, but we cannot see a connection between this fact and the Phen357 product. The product Phen375 may be the same product as Phen357 as all links associated with Phen357 lead straight to the Phen375 website.

List of Ingredients

1,3-Dimethypentylamine Hydrochloride, 1,3,7-Trimethylxanthine, and a Sympathomimetic Amine, Dehydroepiandrosterone,Capsaicin-1.12, L-carnitine.

Product Features

The creators of Phen357 are gifted at making the “laboratory grade” ingredients look like something special. All the ingredient list shows is the scientific name of very common ingredients. 1,3-Dimethylpentylamine Hydrochloride is an extract from the geranamine flower. It is a stimulant commonly used in weight loss and fat burning supplement. Nothing synthetic about this one.

1,3,7-Trimethylxanthine is caffeine and nothing more. Using the scientific name for an ingredient does not make it more effective. Caffeine is used in nearly every fat burning supplement. Phen357 does not bother to tell the dieter just how much caffeine they have included.

A Sympathomimetic Amine is not a name but a type of drug. These drugs or ingredients in this case, work similarly to the sympathetic nervous system. If one were to make a list of Sympathomimetic Amines it would include Ephedra, Pseudoephedra and cocaine. The creators of Phen357 do not list the Sympathomimetic Amine in the product.

Dehydroepiandrosterone is 5-DHEA. More than one study has been completed on 5-DHEA and none found a positive link between weight loss, fat burn or physical performance and the ingredient.

The final interesting scientific name is Capsaicin. This is a complex name for cayenne. Cayenne is a hot pepper commonly included in fat burning supplements.

Dieters can choose to order one, two or three bottles. One bottle sells for $69.95, two bottles for $139.90 and three bottles for $207.85 plus a free bottle is thrown in.

Advantages

  • Caffeine may help increase natural far burning ability.

Disadvantages

  • Long names are used for common ingredients.
  • The Sympathomimetic Amine could be a dangerous ingredient.
  • The price is far too high for the ingredients listed in the supplement.
  • The dieter is not told how much of the ingredients are included.

Conclusion

Phen357 is not only an ineffective weight loss supplement, it could be dangerous. Ephedra, pseudoephedra and cocaine are three of the more common Sympathomimetic Amines. Without the name of the ingredient included in Phen357, the dieter should steer far away from this supplement toward a safer alternative like green tea based products.
