Phosphagen Elite Review
What You Should Know
Phosphagen Elite is a premium creatine supplement by EAS. The official website for EAS no longer lists this product for sale, but several other online supplement retailers continue to sell Phosphagen Elite. This could mean that the manufacturer has discontinued the product and retailers are simply selling out of the stock or that EAS uses the official website for new, upcoming products. It is best to ask for the expiration date on the Phosphagen Elite before purchasing.
List of Ingredients
Phosphorus (Magnesium Phosphate, Disodium Phosphate, Potassium Phosphate), Magnesium (Magnesium Phosphate), Sodium (Di-Sodium Phosphate), Potassium (Potassium Phosphate), Creatine Monohydrate, Taurine, Beta Alanine.
In the other ingredients for Phosphagen Elite, there is dextrose. The total carbohydrate count per serving in 68 grams with 66 grams coming from sugar. This supplement is not something dieters will want to use with a weight loss program as there are no vitamins and nutrients and far too much sugar. For the bodybuilder trying to increase muscle mass off-season, the sugar level may not be too bad but there are many fitness buffs that would rather eat their complex carbs and drink creatine without a 66 gram of sugar impact.
As for the ingredient list, there is nothing new or exciting and for a creatine formula that is a good thing. Creatine supplements are created to move creatine to the muscle as fast as possible to impact muscle gains and improve recovery time. There are tried ingredients that bodybuilders understand truly work and Phosphagen Elite contains them all. Aside from the high sugar content, the label could read the same on a hundred other supplements, however, so it is the EAS name that is selling this product, not how effective it may.
Consumers review the Phosphagen Elite supplement with positive statements. Again, the only complaint is the sugar content. If EAS would release a lower carbohydrate version of Phosphagen Elite, they would likely see an increase in sales and rave reviews.
Dieters will not see any benefit from taking the Phosphagen Elite supplement. The calorie count is far too high and the creatine could cause water retention.
Phosphagen Elite is sold at vitamin and supplement shops that carry EAS products. You can also purchase the supplement online for about $40.
- EAS is a trusted name in bodybuilding supplements.
- The price is comparable (even lower) than other creatine supplements.
- No fat burners are included in the supplement.
- The sugar level is far too high for most bodybuilders and dieters.
Phosphagen Elite is a solid creatine supplement with too much sugar. Chances are some people buy the supplement because they like the EAS name, but that sugar content takes the Phosphagen Elite product out of the comfortable calorie range for most dieters.
