Overview

What You Need to Know

First off, Plexus Slim is a powdered drink mix containing chromium, green coffee bean extract, garcinia cambogia and alpha lipoic acid. When you mix one packet with your favorite beverage, it will supposedly increase weight-loss. The convenient packaging is one of the benefits.

The supplement, first introduced in 2011 by Plexus Worldwide, uses some natural ingredients, a good start. Plexus Slim is available to purchase on the official website and through a distributor. We like the favorable BBB rating and product availability, but read on…

Plexus Slim Cost

The first negative about Plexus Slim cost is it’s too expensive. “There are weight-loss supplements that fall on both sides of the spectrum,” said our Research Editor. “Some are cheap and others expensive. The dieter has to choose where the line is drawn.”

“I have considered Plexus but it is too pricey for me. I would love options that are a fraction of the cost,” stated a customer.

“Expensive. $115/month is not sustainable,” commented a consumer.

“My weight loss came to a standstill. So I stopped it. 100.00 a month for nothing was getting to expensive,” reported a dieter.

Side Effects

Plexus Slim Side Effects

Looking through consumer reviews, the consensus is Plexus Slim side effects were bothersome. “Within 45 minutes I was dizzy, tingles in hand and legs, nausea, heart palpitations and really felt over all terrible. My blood pressure also went really high,” said a customer.

“Caused my already raised blood pressure to increase alarmingly and caused severe headaches, nausea and dizziness,” reported a consumer.

“Side effects I experienced were, cramping, bloating, and constipation,” offered another.

Based on our research, we’ve found that products with a single issue, like high price, could derail chances of long-term weight-loss success. If Plexus Slim cost is too much, that could be a problem.

Science

The Science Behind Plexus Slim Ingredients

While the official Plexus Slim website makes the case the supplement will help you lose weight, we couldn’t locate published scientific research showing it helped dieters in any way. At DietSpotlight, if there’s no solid science, we have an issue.

What Users Are Saying

“Love this product.”

“I have tried the “pink drink” and have not noticed a huge difference in hunger control or energy. I can never get the powder to fully dissolve either. The flavor is ok.”

“I could not tell a difference in my energy levels for the month or so I tried it. Too expensive for me to New up with ordering. I would not recommend.”

Bottom Line

The Bottom Line on Plexus Slim Cost

So, is the price tag on this one just too high? After careful consideration about Plexus Slim, we’ve come to a decision. We like that we found some positive customer comments and that the supplement is readily available, but we are sold on it it because of the lack of scientific research supporting weight-loss. We’re also concerned about the high price tag and side effects.

If you’d like to lose more weight, we recommend going with a weight-loss program with no reported side effects that’s backed by published clinical studies.

One of the programs we like the most is one called Noom. The plan offers its users custom meal plans, a large food logging database, coaching sessions, and a virtual community for support. Dieters are seeing excellent results based on the customer reviews we’ve seen, which is a great sign.

Noom is offering all readers a free trial offer for a limited time.

It costs too much for me. I used Plexus Slim 1 year. I had stomach bloating all my life. After using Plexus for about a month I noticed the bloating was almost completely gone. Over the remaining 9 month’s I hadn’t had bloating at all.I stopped taking it in February of this year. Sadly to say my bloating has returned. The price is just to expensive for me. I did love it though.
