What You Should Know
What kind of effect would a supplement have on the body if it could effectively increase growth hormone? According to the product description for Powerfull, black market products are unsafe especially when there is a safe, natural alternative to boost growth hormone. Growth hormone is responsible for growth, including muscle growth and bone growth. More growth hormone could mean larger, stronger muscles – an ideal effect for bodybuilders. Growth hormone is not intended for weight loss purposes, so Powerfull is not the right supplement for a dieter attempting to lose weight.
The official website for Powerfull reads more like a marketing page than a product information page. There is a link to order the supplement directly from the manufacturer and references to various clinical studies supporting the ingredients in the formula, but many of these clinical studies involve illnesses not associated with the average, healthy user. Many of the clinical studies refer to Parkinson’s disease and fit users.
List of Ingredients
Proprietary Blend: Chlorophytum Borivilianum Root and Velvet Bean.
Most of the studies listed at the bottom of the product page refer to Mucuna Pruriens – this is velvet bean. Velvet bean is a strong ingredient if the bodybuilder suffers from Parkinson’s disease; otherwise there are no clinical references to a boost in growth hormone for the average, healthy bodybuilder.
The other ingredient is Chlorophytum Borivilianum Root. There are many clinical studies supporting the use of Chlorophytum Borivilianum Root for natural therapy, but that natural therapy has nothing to do with growth hormone. Chlorophytum Borivilianum Root is used to treat impotence and reduced sperm count. There is even mention of an immune-boosting property, but boosting the immune system or sperm production is not the same as boosting growth hormone.
Powerfull sells for $55 per bottle. This is the average price for bodybuilding supplements.
- The active ingredients have a long list of clinical studies.
- May be effective for people with Parkinson’s disease.
- May help boost the immune system for improved general health.
- Will not increase growth hormone.
- None of the clinical studies promote the ingredients in healthy athletes or bodybuilders.
- Participants in some studies are already “fit.”
Powerfull is one of the least effective natural products we have reviewed. The active ingredients have clinical proof they work for several illnesses and conditions, too bad none of those conditions have anything to do with growth hormone or increasing the effect of testosterone on a “synergistic” level. It is clear the company went out of their way to promote this supplement with clinical research, but the research has nothing to do with the healthy, average bodybuilder who wants to gain the benefits of increased growth hormone.
