What does the average dieter want in a meal replacement shake? Good taste, strong vitamin profile and reduced carbohydrate impact. ProLab Lean Mass offers all three of these crucial elements, but it also packs in quite the caloric punch. When the shake is mixed into lower fat milk, it tops out at more than 500 calories per serving. This is far too many calories for breakfast or lunch, for the average dieter. If the supplement is designed for bodybuilders, it could be ideal as tons of calories are burned during bodybuilding workouts. The dieter does have other options. They could mix the shake with water to reduce calories or break one serving into two meals to reduce calorie intake. There are no ingredients in ProLab Lean Mass to promote weight loss, but protein is known to reduce appetite and carbohydrate cravings between meals.

Product Features

ProLab Lean Mass packets are available for sale from many online retailers, but the ProLab company no longer lists the supplement on the official website. We are unsure why the supplement is no longer listed as it contains everything the dieter and bodybuilder needs in a meal replacement shake. We assume the 270 calories per packet, before adding in lower fat milk, could be one problem.

ProLab chose to add carbohydrates in the form of fiber-rich oat and barley instead of simple sugars. This is fantastic for the dieter as simple carbohydrates cause hunger and cravings for more carbohydrates.

The average price for ProLab Lean Mass is about $2 per meal.
