What You Should Know
ProLab offers a comprehensive list of supplements for weight loss and bodybuilding. ProLab Metabolic ThyroLean is a fat burner that offers very little metabolic support. There is one stimulant in the formula, but that stimulant is not proven to have positive effects on metabolism. In addition, the main ingredient has recently been associated with consumer complaints and potential health risks. Until clinical testing is completed to rule out possible health problems, we suggest dieters choose a different fat burner for weight loss. Caffeine is a stimulant with clinical support, but it is not the stimulant used in ProLab Metabolic ThyroLean.
List of Ingredients
Calcium, Phosphorus, Sodium, Phosphatidylcholine, Potassium, Gum Guggul Extract, Garcinia Cambogia and L-Tyrosine.
We are often confused by the supplements we encounter. ProLab Metabolic ThyroLean is a fat burner with garcinia cambogia. Garcinia cambogia, also known as hydroxycitric acid (HCA), was once the primary ingredient in many fat burning supplements. Hydroxycut, a huge weight loss supplement line, used HCA in all fat burners the company produced. That is, until consumer complaints of liver damage arose and the Food and Drug Administration suggested the company pull the supplements. After going through a complete overhaul, Hydroxycut no longer sells supplements with HCA, but other companies are hanging onto the controversial ingredient.
ProLab Metabolic ThyroLean contains several other ingredients, but none are proven to support weight loss. Aside from the lone stimulant ingredient, the supplement is fairly useless for the average dieter. There is no reason to purchase a stimulant supplement that does not contain an appetite suppressant. Stimulants increase heart rate which causes increased hunger. This is why most proven supplements contain both a stimulant and appetite suppressant.
The official ProLab website does not list Metabolic ThyroLean but we found the supplement for sale on several other vitamin websites. Dieters need a supplement the manufacturer is willing to stand behind and that is clearly not the case with Metabolic ThyroLean.

Just because a company gives a supplement a name like Metabolic ThyroLean does not mean the supplement is proven to boost metabolism or make the dieter lean. This supplement contains one ingredient that could increase heart rate and nothing more. The dieter will likely see an increase in hunger and could suffer from negative side effects. We suggest using safe ingredients for weight loss, including green tea and chromium.
