Pso Sottile is a weight loss supplement sold on a Spanish website. There is an English website dedicated to the supplement, but that website does not list any of the ingredients in the formula. We translated the Spanish website and found the ingredient list, but the formula leaves much to be desired. The ingredients include a laxative and diuretic. There is also a natural source of caffeine, despite the company claiming there is no caffeine in the formula.

The product description lists obesity as a probably cause of diabetes, arthritis and other illnesses and ailments. This is the only true statement we could find.

Product Features

Starting with the statement that Pso Sottile does not contain caffeine, we have to throw the red flag. Green tea is included in the formula. We love green tea because there are clinical trials on humans showing the health benefits of a daily dose of green tea, but green tea does contain caffeine. There is no mention of how much green tea is in the formula or how much caffeine the green tea supplies to the dieter.

Cascara sagrada is a stimulant laxative. The word stimulant means the herb causes the muscles of the intestines to contract, forcing waste from the body. Cascara sagrada works similarly to Ex-Lax. This ingredient offers no weight loss benefits and should not be taken long term.

Dandelion is another dangerous ingredient. Dandelion is a diuretic. Diuretics force water out of the body, leaving the dieter dehydrated if they don’t take in enough water. Diuretics are another ingredient that should not be taken long-term.

Pso Sottile claims the supplement will increase weight loss and relieve constipation. The weight loss claim is unfounded because the company does not bother to tell the dieter how much green tea is added. If more than 300 mg is included in the daily dose, there could be some truth to weight loss claims. Constipation is not a problem all dieters face and laxatives should not be used to increase weight loss.

  • Ingredients are listed on the manufacturer website.
  • Contains green tea, proven to boost metabolism.

  • Contains a stimulant laxative.
  • Contains a diuretic.
  • Several of the ingredients are not commonly used in weight loss supplements.

Pso Sottile is not the ideal weight loss supplement. If the dieter loses weight on the supplement the weight loss is likely associated with the laxative and diuretic and not ingredients proven to boost metabolism and decrease hunger.
