Pureweigh Review

What You Should Know

Pureweigh is a diet beverage that is supposed to be taken before you eat. This is a unique take on the average weight management and protein shakes that are typically advertised as complete meal replacements. Pureweigh claims to reduce obesity around your waist, reduce your body mass index, balance hormones which can lead to emotional eating, and increase your metabolism as well as a few more positive effects.

Pureweigh seems to be a mixture of four very distinct, patented formulas and these are: Serotein which is a protein complex, SloCarb which is a type of appetite suppresant, LivClear which is a detoxification product, and Nutrient 950 which is a vitamin and mineral complex. Each one of these has its own ingredients listing so the overall amount of ingredients in the actual Pureweigh product is pretty substantial.

List of Ingredients

This product contains a staggering number of ingredients, so we will focus on the four primary products that are part of Pureweigh.

Serotein: A protein-nutrient complex that provides exceptionally high quality protein, a favorable amino acid profile, and inositol. Components include: Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate,Calcium Enriched Soy Protein Isolate, Myo-Inositol: Mood-Food Response Factor (MFR.)

SloCarb: A scientific blend of dietary carbohydrates and fibers that are more slowly digested, offering a greater feeling of fullness and satiety and supporting blood sugar and insulin metabolism.
Features include: High Amylose Resistant Starch, High Viscosity Glucomannan,1-3 Beta Glucan,Nutra-Flax High Lignan Flax Seed Fiber.

LivClear: Supports healthy hepatic detoxification and liver function during weight loss.
Features include: Green Tea Polyphenols, Red Beet Extract, Milk Thistle, Taurine.

Nutrient 950 Multi-Vitamin and Minerals: The “nutritional cornerstone” used by thousands of physicians providing a full spectrum of advanced delivery vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Features include: Nutrient 950 multi-vitamin and mineral spectrum, with enhanced levels of Magnesium, Chromium, Folic Acid, Buffered Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, and Biotin.

The Pureweight beverage is naturally Flavored and Sweetened with Stevia leaf, Lo Han (Momordica grosvenori ) fruit extract.

Product Features

Pureweigh contains many different ingredients that each have a specific function. There are plenty of all natural antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals in addition to cleansers and detoxification agents such as milk thistle. What Pureweigh attempts to do is make you so full before meals that you eat extremely small portions. The beverage contains less than 100 calories and actually has a warning that, if taken over long periods without additional food, you could suffer serious injury or even death.

Pureweigh comes in many flavors that most weight management products don’t offer so that is a nice change of pace. Exotic flavors like pineapple, coconut and chocolate mint really stand out.

Advantages

  • Fairly cheap. You get 2.5 pounds of Pureweigh for around $45.00.
  • Plenty of information and a full ingredients list available on the official website.

Disadvantages

  • Pureweigh contains an amazing amount of ingredients. We’ve never seen so many ingredients in a single product.
  • It’s hard to know if all of the ingredients work together in an effective way.
  • There are no testimonials or clinical data available.
  • Medical professionals are somewhat concerned about low-calorie meal repalcements like Pureweight, and fear that they could encourage eating disorders and offer poor long-term nutrition.

Conclusion

Pureweigh makes very amazing claims, but doesn’t have the information available to back them up. If this product actually needs a warning that you may suffer serious injury from not getting enough calories each day, you may want to think twice about using it for long-term weight loss. We’re a little scared of Pureweigh at this time because there are probably close to 100 ingredients in this product and it would be impossible to know how they interact with each other.
