PVL Water Tight Review
What You Should Know
You’ve worked your butt off in the gym lifting weights, attending cardio classes and eating right at home to achieve the perfect bodybuilding physique. You are deep in the cutting phase so you’re running more than you’re lifting and you’ve done a great job of shedding any extra fat on your body, but the water weight from creatine is still sitting between your skin and highly defined muscles. PVL Watertight is a supplement designed for just this circumstance. It is not, however, designed for the average dieter who thinks losing weight is about shedding as much water weight as possible. The body holds on to water and fluid for use by cells, organs muscles and more. If you shed all that extra water, you’re left dehydrated with an electrolyte imbalance that could affect the heart.
List of Ingredients
- Dandelion Extract
- Uva Ursi
- Green Tea Extract
From the top to the bottom of the ingredient list for PVL Watertight you see diuretics. There is one ingredient stuck in the middle that provides only mild diuretic qualities, but a proven fat burning profile – green tea extract.
Diuretics are part of bodybuilding. The bodybuilder needs to shed water weight caused by other bodybuilding supplements in order to meet the physique of other bodybuilders in competition. Diuretics can be used safely by bodybuilders, but not PVL Watertight. The formula is missing one big ingredient – potassium. Diuretics force potassium out of the body causing electrolyte imbalance in the muscle. When electrolytes are out of balance, muscle cramping can occur. The heart is a muscle. The bodybuilder needs to eat lots of potassium-rich foods and drink lots of water while taking this supplement. Taking a potassium supplement may not be a bad choice.
Green tea is a fat burner, metabolism booster, antioxidant and mild diuretic. There is 150 mg of green tea per 3 capsules. The bodybuilder is expected to take 6 capsules a day or 300 mg of green tea. This is an effective dose of green tea that offers definite metabolism-boosting benefits. Especially since the green tea is standardized for 45% EGCG.
