Quadra Cuts Competition Review
What You Should Know
Quadra Cuts Competition by Max Muscle Sports Nutrition is an energy supplement which combines the ingredients Synepherine, Caffeine and Yohimbine. Max Muscle Sports Nutrition, a franchised sport nutritional company, markets Quadra Cuts Competition as a product which stimulates weight loss, fat loss, and water loss. The product also claims to promote mental alertness and focus while controlling appetite. The marketing campaign surrounding Quadra Cuts Competition does not include scientific proof for all of the listed ingredients.
After further review of Quadra Cuts Competition, we found limited availability online, including the official website. Quadra Cuts Competition sells for $71.99 for 90 capsules.
List of Ingredients
Niacin, Vitamin C, Chromium, Potassium, Vanadium.
Appetite Management and Thermogenic Blend: Slimaluma Extract (Caralluma fimbriata), Synephrine HCL, Yohimbine HCL, Caffeine anhydrous, White Willow Bark Extract, Green Tea Extract, Beta-Phenylethylamine, Capsicum anuum Fruit Extract, Alpha Lipoic Acid.
Water Loss Support Blend: Papaya Extract, Uva Ursi Leaf Extract, Dandelion Leaf Extract, Bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus) Thallus.
The Thermogenic Blend is supposed to support fat loss and weight loss. Synephrine will increase heart rate, but it may not increase fat loss as much as Max Muscle would like the user to think. The stimulant was used to replace Ephedra when the FDA banned the ingredient, but no clinical studies have proven it can increase fat loss the way Ephedra did.
Yohimbine and caffeine are two additional stimulants. Caffeine is proven to increase metabolism, and we tend to like that ingredient in fat burners. Yohimbine has stimulating qualities, but is more often used to increase libido, not fat burn.
White willow bark is an aspirin alternative. Commonly used as part of a natural ECA stack, white willow bark may decrease pain and thin the blood. The ECA stack was a potent combination, but synephrine cannot replace Ephedra.
Green tea extract is another high point ingredient for Max Muscle Quadra Cuts Competition. However, the supplement would need to include about 350 mg to be effective and we have no idea how much of the ingredient included.
The Water Loss Support Blend includes a combination of diuretics. Diuretics are often included in fat burners to remove excess water between the skin and muscle tissue. This is how bodybuilders get that ripped look before a competition. In this case, combining stimulants which have a natural diuretic quality with strong diuretics like dandelion and uva ursi may lead to dehydration and severe muscle cramping.
Max Muscle Quadra Cuts sells for $71.99 from Max Muscle online. The product may also be available in stores. The website is hard to navigate, so dieters may have trouble finding the product description and sales page. Most of the information for the product is included in a image document.
- All ingredients listed online.
- Dieters can order the product from the official website.
- Some clinical study references are listed.
- Diuretics are not for fat loss.
- Multiple stimulants could lead to jitters and nausea.
We would not suggest the average dieter use Max Muscle Quadra Cuts Competition. The supplement includes too many stimulants and diuretics for safe use by the average dieter. If a bodybuilder is going to use this supplement before a competition, it may be necessary to increase water intake and start out taking the supplement with a half or quarter dose.
