What You Should Know
Quick Weight Loss Centers are programs that assist men, women and children with weight loss by teaching a certain way of life. This system is not the same for everyone and they actually offer “individualized programs.” Some of the key points emphasized for Quick Weight Loss Centers are as follows; private counseling, real food, no exercise, doctor recommended, guaranteed results and flexible food plans. There are customer testimonials posted on the official website. Locations for Quick Weight Loss Centers are offered on the website including centers in Broward, Miami and Pam Beach. There is a “free weight loss consultation” apparatus on the website.
Some of the key aspects of Quick Weight Loss Centers are the products, recipes and home program, which are offered through the official website. Quick Weight Loss Centers allow users to make appointments via one of the centers, or they can get assistance online with the home program. The products offered with this weight reduction system include salad dressings, snacks, cold drinks, nutritional bars, puddings, soups, shakes, hot drinks and “weight loss aids,” which are oral supplements. The official website does post a guarantee on the home page. Unfortunately there are no free trial samples of this product available for first time users at this time.
Product Features
Quick Weight Loss Centers are claimed to be suitable for women, men and children who desire assistance with weight loss. This program involves official centers, products, recipes and a home program. Basically this is a lifestyle change where the user’s diet is altered and supplements are used to assist with weight reduction. Quick Weight Loss Centers additionally offer “advice” on losing weight, but do not promote fitness regimens. Recipes and products are available through the official website. There doesn’t appear to be any real clinical evidence offered on the website to support the effectiveness of the Quick Weight Loss Center approach. An official price for the program is not given on the website.
Advantages
- Quick Weight Loss Centers state that they guarantee results on the official website.
- There are free weight loss recipes available on the website.

Disadvantages
- No clinical data is presented on the official website to support the overall effectiveness of Quick Weight Loss Centers.
- Some ingredients found in the supplements from Quick Weight Loss Centers may not be suitable for some individuals.
- Quick Weight Loss Centers call for a rather dramatic lifestyle change, which may not be practical or possible for all individuals.
- Full product ingredients lists are absent from the website.
- A price is not posted for the Quick Weight Loss Centers program.
- Program may be too expensive for some. (See reader comments.)
- There are no free trial samples of the supplements available.
Conclusion
On the bright side, Quick Weight Loss Centers do offer free recipes and a variety of products and dietary supplements for sale. However, this weight reduction program overall may be a tad too involved for some dieters. It would certainly be nice to see an actual price posted on the official website, in addition to some in-depth clinical evidence supporting Quick Weight Loss Centers and free trial samples of the supplements they offer.

I recently signed up for the Quick Weight Loss program and I have to say I feel like I was duped about the program. The initial cost of the program was reasonable to somewhat expensive. Where they get you and what they dont tell you until after the fact is the supplements, vitiams, herbs, etc. that you need to make the program work. HERE IS THE REAL COST OF THE PROGRAM. I was shocked to say the least at the amount of money that it would require for me to complete my program. It was said that they were offering a one time offer at least 30% off. Still to the tune of over 2k. Had I known the full story prior to me signing up, I probably wouldn’t have done it. And that’s my fault for not investigating and researching it more before I signed up.

now its time to buy , what did you do ?

I tried Quick Weight Loss Center about 2 years ago. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! I did loose about 10 lbs, but only after practically starving myself for over a month. The food and pills they make you buy should be made of gold for the price they charge for them. They say you can eat normal food, but you are so restricted on what you can have. I ended up eating a small boiled chicken breast and celery every day for the month. That’s really all I ate. That’s not a lifestyle it’s starvation! Don’t waste your time or money. I recently found a better diet for me and it’s free. I count my calories (always under 1200)and work out. I have lost weight fast and it’s easy and did i mention it’s free!

Yes, I was also surprised at how much this cost. I am only into my 3rd week and I can’t afford it anymore. It is truly a rip-off. You should just starve yourself or take out a loan of some kind to pay for the program. I am very disappointed with the whole thing.

I used QWLC almost 10 years ago and lost 65 lbs. in 8 months. It was a drastic lifestyle change, but my prior lifestyle is what caused me to be 65 lbs. overweight! The program is expensive, but you don’t HAVE to use the supplements to be successful on it. And if R M was only eating boiled chicken breast and celery, (s)he was definitely not taking advantage of all the foods (s)he was allowed to eat! I appreciated the accountability and praise the program offered, as well as the help in times of plateau. There is no reason to starve, as some put it, but everyone who needs to diet should expect some hunger pangs when cutting back on food intake – which is what is needed to lose weight.

I was wondering about this program.. the results people say they have seen is what drew me in .. 18lbs in 3weeks.. I know that was from cutting foods out but I wanted to get that assistance and be steered in the right way knowing what are good carbs.. good fatty foods etc… I have a friend who said it was costing her a lot but then another said it cost him under $250 so I am peaked to see what the cost would be and what kind of meal plan cause boiled chicken and celery would NOT work for me ..lol

Just started QWL. It was expensive, but so is pulling through drive thru’s and all the junk food I was buying. I am a nurse and I see all the health problems brought on by being over weight. You can pay now and add yrs to your life or pay later for healthcare for chronic health problems. I am eating lean meats and healthy vegetables. The supplements are optional and the support is priceless. My brother n law just lost 70lbs @ QWL and looks amazing!

I started the QWLC 7 weeks ago and have lost 35 lbs! The people that work there are knowledgeable, non-judgmental and very friendly. It is expensive, but the alternative is much worse. I am learning how to eat healthy and more responsibly. For those that claim bad experiences, I wonder how committed you were to losing the weight? QWLC is certainly a program that demands discipline, but at the same time, I’m not hungry and I’m losing weight, avg of 5 lbs a week. For me it is an amazing program and I reccomend it to all I know!

I have been considering joining the QWLC. I previously called to find out about the program. They did not want to provide to much information over the phone but, insisted I come in and they would fully explain the plan. I did get one rep to give me a ball park figure of the cost I was looking at and I was told about 500 for the year. (which I thought not bad) But, now reading over some of the comments left some have spent 2000. For those that are currently using the program how much did you pay?

I started QWLC about 2 weeks ago after dong Atkins for a year and loosing 75 pounds. I was a little sticker shocked at the price of the program, but the saying is you get what you pay for.I am learning to make better choices and change a lifetime of bad habits and food choices. I know this plan is going to take dedication and commitment, but my health choices are not that great. I say if you are dedicated to changing your life give it a try. What have you got to loose, but some weight.

I actually decided to give QWLC a try. I paid $407 up front and will pay the additional 230 next month. I felt I had to give this a try when I found out I actually weighed 30lbs more than I thought I did. I am currently on the prep phase. Its my second day. Not all that bad thus far. Yes, I would prefer eating the fatty fried foods but, I’m trying to look and feel better about myself. I have the class tonight to discuss my plan after the prep. One question I have for everyone that has given QWLC a try did you exercise? They say you will lose the weight without diet or exercise. So did you have to incorporate exercise as well to reach your weight loss goal?

I just actually signed up for the program and paid 500.00 and that was only because I purchased some of the pills. I did not have to purchase any but I just thought maybe,I would give it a try. The actual sign up fee was 199.this is a 10 wk program that they were running a special on. In those ten wks u are suspose to lose at least 30lbs.however you do have to purchase the bars & drinks that were not included in the fee. The total was 460. The only reason I signed up is because my sister has been on it for 3 wks and wow all I can say!
[Reply]
Mrs. B thank you so much for your response. I actually have a meeting set up with them today.

I joined and it cost me about $1000.00! This is for 17wks of weight loss (only 12 weeks of supplements) then 6 wks of stabilization and 29 wks of maintenance. I paid $600 at sign-up! That was a bargain because they say it is a #3000 value then work it down to $900 and then to $700. I told the girl that it too much & I can’t do it. Then like a car salesman, she brought in her manager that offered me another $100 off & used all my answers on my questionnaire against me (guilt). Now, the price was $600. I joined because, I reasoned, that it would cost less than $12 per wk, I can live with that. Then you start a prep-phase and are told to come back in 3-6 days for a “class” to begin the “program”. That’s when they got me, again! They sat me in a room and had me sign that I was here for the “class” today. Then she explained what’s allowed, what’s not allowed and that you have to weigh and measure everything, and have your protein bars or fruit by 6PM, etc. And that you MUST use their supplements in order for them to “guarantee” success. So they showed me a sheet.[ $2099 for the 52 wks, $399 for 12Wks or $139 for 6Wks] This is a “ONE TIME DISCOUNT” Realizing that this program is unrealistic and impossible for me, I read the fine print: “ALL NEW PROGRAMS INCLUDE AN ENROLLMENT AND SET-UP FEE OF $210 WHIDH NON-REFUNDABLE. I understand that ALL SALES ARE FINAL and that any and all supplement or products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once the supplement leaves the center. I understand that once given my “class” the program becomes NON-REFUNDABLE IN ITS ENTIRETY”
I left there in tears, paying the additional $399 (bringing me to my $1000, So that I can at least have the supplements “required to guarantee my success” at the BEST price. I complained to the highest level in the center…that I should at least be able to try the diet for one week before my discount offer would expire- to no avail! BEWARE! THIS IS A SCAM! YOU CANNOT REALISTICALLY DO THIS PROGRAM IN A MANNER IN WHICH THEY WILL GAURANTEE OR REFUND YOU ANYTHING! REMEMBER; they had me sign!

I would like to franchise a Quick Weightloss Center here in Pennsylvania. My wife is successfully using the program and I can see a good potential for an in person operation here in Kingston PA. An MD friend of mine is interested. Please contact me! Thanks Ted Lewis

I joined qwl and lost 23lbs in about 3 month. I look amazing and everybody notices it. I have never starved. It requires a lot of discipline, but actually I found myself eating a lot, because they want you to eat, but eat the right food for you. If you don’t loose lbs is because you are not doing what you supposed to do. You can only fool yourself. The program is amazing and safe.

I love the QWLC program, but I just wasn’t strong enough to do it. I just didn’t have the time to prepare ahead and plan my meals, thus I ended up with nothing to eat and no following my plan because I was unprepared. In addition, despite Mrs. Dash products being allowed, my food still had no taste when prepared correctly and without salt. I just can’t eat nasty food, which is why I am chubby in the first place. My counserlors were good and never gave up on me. But I Still ended up leaving the program because I was not loosing the weight as quickly as I need to and I was spending too much money. I was always hungry because I did not want to eat the food that was allowed. The shakes and bars are ok, but they do not taste nearly as good as their price would suggest. I also could not eat any frozen foods which contributes to my inability to stick to the diet because I don’t always have time to buy something fresh and cook it. I am going to give them another try next week (THis will be my sixth attempt to loose the weight over a two year period). THe most I ever lost was about 15 pounds. I need to loose eighty. I don’ know if it is going to work this time, but I am still hopeful.

I saw amazing results for 2 coworkers, but one quickly put it all back on after completing the program. He seemed to shrink every day at first, but told me he gained 20 lbs the first month he was off the plan. I felt it was too restrictive for my working lifestyle but applaud those who can stick to it. It does get expensive and some of the food items are tasteless of just plain yukky. Avoid the “sale” foods.

I just started QWL and I will keep you all posted I am on a fixed income so money for me is tight. I want to learn what they have to say and work with everything they can give me. Let you know how much of a success story I will bring to you all.

I called today to inquire about the program and they didn’t give me much information over the phone. I have my free consultation tomorrow, but they didn’t want to tell me if you have to pay for the program up front or do they give you payment options?

I am on the program for past 2 weeks but lost only 4 pounds. It is very tough being that watchful for recommended diet and supplements make me feel jittery and horrible. I suggest buying a book instead”Cardio Free Diet” by Jim Karas. it has everything that requires to loose w8t (I got from local liberary). It tells u how foods work, how many calories each food has, strength training for faster results, (very promising). I suggest giving it a try for 2 mnths and see if anything works coz I just found the book yesterday and I am going to follow it. The w8t loss program is very expensive and suppliments suck and make me feel sick. So I am going to continue the program w/o suppliments. I have paid $700+ for maintenance, rest cost will be foods and supplements $16 ea (even for a very small box of cereal…so if u r on budget try the book 1st and post your comments; I will keep u posted. Good Luck!

I went to QWL yesterday as a drop in…I am a member of Weight Watchers and felt I was losing too slow..but the cost of QWL center – $675. which is a saving of the $1404. which was the total join price. It included all the vitamins and supplementals for a month, however when I asked what the cost of the vitamins and supplements were there was no set prices listed and the rep just wrote on the form off the top of her head the cost of these things… and they are costly. When I wanted to leave they asked me for a $50.00 deposit to hold the price…it was non-refundable when is said no I was asked for a $25.00 deposit – I said no and would be back…I am staying on WW and going to work a little harder on the program…QWL center works on commission and the more products they sell the more money the reps make….

I’ve been on the program for 2 weeks now and I’ve lost 8lbs. I could have lost more, but, I have cheated quite a few times. To me, the program is excellent. You’re still able to eat the foods you enjoy. Everything is in moderation. With everything that requires a change, whether you’re trying to loose weight, save for a house, study for an exam, etc…, you have to make some sort of sacrifice. Some things are going to be put on hold until you achieve that goal. It’s the same way with the program. Ofcourse you can’t stop and pick up some fast food; you’re trying to loose weight. The program is costly. The supplements are optional, however, I do purchase them because it does suppress your appetite and it replaces a meal. I was 262lbs when I began. I am now 254lbs. My goal is to get down to 180lbs. by August. I know I can do it!!!
[Reply]
what’s included in the prep-phase?
[Reply]
Yes it is expensive and yes it works. If you add up what you spend on eating out, junk food and alcohol then replace those costs with the cost of the plan it should be worth it to you. The supplements are packed with protein which is not cheap. Now I am at goal weight after losing 44 pounds. No regrets.

I went to an interview today. Just to begin the program would cost approximately $30.00 a lb.. That doesn’t include the various suppliments, etc. I would be required to buy to get the guarantee. IMO, if you have the decipline to follow their program, you don’t need them. Everything they offer (except the cheerleaders) can be bought at a national health food chain for less than $150.00.

This program works. The price is based on the amount of lbs you want to loose. I wanted to loose 80 lbs and it cost me $900. If I wanted to loose less, it would have been less. They take Visa and it is way way cheaper than a hospital bill would be later down the road if I don’t get this weight off!! I don’t know what people are complaining about. It works. I know someone who lost 70 lbs in 4 months. You eat grocery store food but you have to plan ahead and pack your breakfast and lunch to take to work and your snacks. You do that in the evening instead of sitting on the couch with a bag of chips watching TV. The center is great and full of people that want you to succeed and are friendly and helpful. It is not a scam. The protein drinks and bars are to speed the weight loss and they do. It is all about you and if you want to do it or not. This is a wonderful program. I am currently on it and I have lost weight.
