Ravenous is an appetite booster from Anabolic Designs. We had to take a second look at the ingredient list, because the ingredients looks eerily similar to colon cleansing products that sell under the weight loss and detox flag from some manufacturers. After looking more closely, we found natural laxatives and diuretics, but Anabolic Designs is not trying to hide the fact that these ingredients are included in the formula. According to the product description, a bodybuilder cannot be hungry if he is stuffed with old waste, so that old waste must be removed and hunger will be restored.

Dieters could use a product like Ravenous to promote colon cleansing and relieve occasional constipation. Chances of feeling increased hunger after cleansing the colon is no higher if this product is used or a product with a weight loss label smacked on the front of the bottle.

Product Features

We are constantly learning new and exciting things when it comes to the supplement market. The ingredients in Ravenous are not associated with increased appetite, but they will increase bowel movements and cause occasional diarrhea and dehydration.

Elimatox contains three laxatives – cascara sagrada, senna seed and marshmallow root powder. One of these ingredients is more than enough to promote increased bowel movements, let alone three in the same supplement. Laxatives should not be used long-term because the body can get lazy. If the colon is lazy, it will not eliminate waste and chronic constipation may develop.

Optizyme contains digestive enzymes that helps break down food in the intestine so vitamins and nutrients can be absorbed more quickly.

Optimass contains diuretics. We are unsure how diuretics are supposed to increase appetite, but we do know they increase urination and the risk of dehydration. Long-term use of diuretics may lead to constipation.

Advantages

  • Ingredients for Ravenous are listed online.
  • The supplement may cleanse the colon.
  • Supports proper digestive health.

Disadvantages

  • Not designed for the average dieter.
  • May promote hunger.
  • Contains three laxatives.
  • Contains diuretics.

Conclusion

This is not a formula the average dieter needs in the cupboard at home. The use of laxatives and diuretics to promote hunger carries no weight. If this formula were to increase hunger, so would nearly every colon cleansing supplement in the weight loss world.
