Reducit apparently uses three substances in its ingredient blend. These ingredients are the plants griffonia simplicifolia, morinda citrifolia, and camellia sinensis. Griffonia simplicifolia is a source of the amino acid 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP). Some people consider that 5-HTP can support the body’s production of a neurotransmitter called serotonin, and therefore lead to a lower appetite. This claim has not been supported by research. Noni, or Morinda citrifolia, is a fruit that contains many nutrient. Camellia sinensis is more commonly known as green tea. Green tea contains caffeine and it may be able to improve the body’s fat-burning capabilities. Preliminary research suggest that green tea’s antioxidant content can provide hunger control benefits to some people.
Reducit contains 5-HTP and noni. Neither of these two items have been researched thoroughly and therefore the claims are not supported by sufficient scientific data.
