Ripped Juice Extreme Review
What You Should Know
Betancourt Ripped Juice Extreme is a product similar to the Ripped Juice EX2 by the same company. This version of the Ripped Juice supplement contains some of the same ingredients as Ripped Juice EX2, which means it’s just another stimulant packing quite the heart racing punch. In addition to stimulants, there is a touch of chromium to reduce hunger or cravings, but the company stands by the use of hoodia as an appetite suppressant despite the lack of clinical support for the ingredient.
List of Ingredients
- Vitamin B12
- Guggul Extract
- Alpha Lipoic Acid
- Guarana Extract
- Yerba Mate Extract
- Kola Nut Extract
- Citrus Aurantium Extract
- Evodie Extract
- Hoodia Extract
- L-Tyrosine Powder
The ingredient list starts off somber with a dose of vitamin B12 and chromium. Chromium is one of the few ingredients in Ripped Juice Extreme proven to have an impact on weight loss. Chromium helps control blood glucose response and thus the dieter may feel fewer carbohydrate cravings.
Caffeine is the next proven ingredient and while we normally support the use of caffeine to improve metabolism, we are unsure just how much caffeine Betancourt packed into this supplement, thus we are unsure whether or not the product could cause negative side effects. With caffeine, guarana, yerba mate, kola nut and citrus aurantium, we feel the average dieter would feel jittery and shaky after taking this supplement no matter how much coffee they consume each day.
Hoodia is the big appetite suppressant in the Ripped Juice Extreme formula, but clinical studies prove hoodia has no effect on hunger. The company even throws in phenylalanine – known to affect mood. Phenylalanine is unsafe for dieters with mental conditions like depression and anxiety. If you are currently taking an MAOI you should not take this supplement.
Finally, L-tyrosine powder is included to reduce the impact of the stimulants on blood pressure. Citrus aurantium, for instance, is known to increase blood pressure. If the dieter is taking medication to reduce blood pressure Ripped Juice Extreme is not a safe product to try.
