Dr. Sam J. Walters is a naturopathic medical doctor who heads Wellspring Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Wellspring Clinic is a facility where people with immune system deficiencies caused by serious diseases such as cancer and multiple sclerosis receive naturopathic care. Dr. Walters also works with Optomed Pharmaceuticals to produce and market nutritional supplements. The five products Walters and Optomed offer are: Immune Activator, Immune Power, Gastro 8, Reform Factor, and Prox 4 in 1.

Wellspring Clinc and Optomed market Immune Activator as a complete dietary supplement designed by Dr. Sam J. Walters. Intended as a multiple vitamin and mineral formula for all ages, Immune Activator rivals the claims of other leading daily supplements. Immune Power is formulated towards strengthening consumers’ immune systems with nutritionally “boosting” ingredients for all ages of consumers. Gastro 8 is a digestive aid advertised as a “stomach soother and colon calmer.” Reform Factor is a protein supplement shake that provides nutritional benefits. Prox 4 in 1 is a product that the manufacturer recommends for men who wish to maintain prostate health.

Features

According to the Wellspring Clinic brochure, the supplements that Walters and Optomed market contain only pharmaceutical grade ingredients. They emphasize that Dr. Walters holds his supplement manufacturers to strict operating procedures that maintain a higher quality standard than “typical” supplement manufacturers.

The Reform Factor health shake comes in chocolate or vanilla flavors. According to the literature, Reform Factor’s key ingredient is MicroLactin, a supplement that reportedly boosts the body’s anti-inflammatory response to decrease joint inflammation, stiffness, and pain.

Advantages

  • Health supplements have a medical doctor’s endorsement
  • Products are self-proclaimed “pharmaceutical quality” supplements
  • Natural herbs and no artificial coloring keep the supplements pure

Disadvantages

  • The label claims are not endorsed by the Food and Drug Administration
  • “Pharmaceutical quality” is not a clearly defined standard
  • Herbal ingredients are not FDA approved or tested for efficacy

Conclusion

While the supplements marketed by Dr. Walters and Orthomed are advertised as being formulated by a medical doctor under the highest production standards in the industry, there is no independent verification as to these products’ medical benefits nor independent standard-setting entity to verify these claims. While many people might feel more comfortable taking supplements endorsed by a physician, you should compare ingredient labels and prices in order to choose the products that will work the best for your needs.

Just come across Dr Sam who is now advertising Cognizine something that reverses memory loss in the over 40′s prevents disease such as alzheimers, etc, etc.
To my conservative British ears it is incredibly over-hyped and unbelievable. He claims to be able to help people to live to over 100 totally disease free.
then follows the final sales pitch that you see at local markets. I am not selling this to you for 150 dollars, not for 100 dollars etc, etc.
The final pitch is if you are not happy after 60 days you get your money back plus 10 dollars.
I am tempted to see what happens if you take up this offer.
If I could talk to Dr Sam direct I would ask why if this treatment takes 12 years off your memory ageing why not everyone knows about this. I would certainly tell all my friends, the power of word of mouth and twitter would have this news around the world in a few days.

If you go on Google similar products are widely available.

Of course it may be entirely true but I will wait for the select group (he only has a few hundred bottles) to report their success before I am tempted further.
