Product Features

Shaq’s Family Challenge requires you to make four promises before you start. The rules are: Do not eat fast food more than once a week. Make sure you exercise at least 30 minutes every day. For the first two weeks, keep a food journal of everything you eat. Make sure you set goals and exercise. When you sign up online and agree to these promises, there is a certificate available for you to print, so you can sign it and use it as a reminder of your commitment. Once you sign up to take the challenge online, you get access to a variety of tools and information to help everyone be successful. You’ll get a large database of kid tested and friendly recipes, exercises and other physical activities you can do as a family, and help with getting and staying motivated, from Shaq himself. He created the program to help combat childhood obesity, so a major component of the program relies on keeping kids actively interested in the program and what it has to offer.

Shaq’s Family Challenge does not appear to be valid anymore, but that doesn’t mean you and your family can’t make use of its principles to get healthier. As long as you learn to make wiser food choices (more nutrition, less fat and sugar) and commit to at least 30 minutes of activity a day, you will see results. For children, going on a diet can be harmful, so speak to your doctor about any major changes you intend to make. Do not use a clinically proven safe and effective weight loss supplement unless you are an adult who is at least 18 years old.
