What is fluid yoga? According to Shiva Rea, the human body is made up of 50-percent water and that water can be a great source of happiness and energy. Fluid Yoga uses gently moving poses and transitions to tap into fluid energy in the human body. The Shiva Rea: Fluid Power workout is not for beginners as detailed instruction needed to learn each basic move is not included. However, even the most basic yoga follower will find the moves smooth and energizing, even if they have to hold a familiar pose longer than the instructor cues. The DVD includes three hours of workouts broken into 20-minute segments. The Yoga Matrix menu allows the viewer to choose which segments to follow and in which order those segments play. This allows the viewer to create a new workout every time.

There are no extra pieces of equipment needed to complete the Shiva Rea: Fluid Power workout, aside from a yoga mat. The follower should have water and a towel nearby. Yoga may be a fluid exercise, but it will cause the follower to sweat, especially beginners.
