Shredded Mass by Chaparral Labs is a fat burner with quite the dangerous ingredient list. While we understand the product is designed for the bodybuilder, we don’t quite understand the use of a prohormone that works to increase weight gain in the formula. According to the product description, the supplement is designed to eliminate the need for a prohormone and fat burner taken as separate supplements. This means the average dieter should not take this supplement.

List of Ingredients

  • Epistane
  • Forskolin
  • Caffeine
  • Green Tea
  • Methyl-PEA
  • Geranium Oil
  • 3, 5 Diido

Product Features

Epistane is a prohormone commonly used by bodybuilders to increase lean muscle mass. This ingredient must be cycled on and off with a PCT SERM. It is best to take products containing Epistane for no more than four weeks before cycling off. Interestingly enough, the Epistane website suggests cycling from Epistane to a fat burner.

Caffeine is the mother of all fat burners. It will increase heart rate and help the dieter achieve weight loss goals when taken in moderation with a lean diet and exercise program. Taking into consideration the fact that this supplement is designed for the bodybuilder, this should not be a problem. Green tea is another proven metabolism booster.

Methyl-PEA is a methylated form of phenylethylamine or PEA. We don’t like the fast metabolizing form of the ingredient, let alone a methylated version that takes longer to metabolize. This ingredient is not safe for dieters who have psychiatric issues like bipolar disorder.

Geranium oil is also known as 1, 3 dimethylamylamine. This ingredient is known to cause heart palpitations and other negative side effects.

3, 5 Diido has some clinical support as a fat loss agent. We are watching the clinical studies on this one, but so far the results are good.

  • We quickly found a complete list of ingredients for Shredded Mass.
  • Contains caffeine and green tea.

  • Epistane is a prohormone and should not be used by the average dieter.
  • Prohormones are usually cycled with fat burners not taken at the same time.
  • Contains 1, 3 dimethylamylamine – may cause heart palpitations.
  • Contains PEA – may cause mood swings.

The formula for Shredded Mass is not one we would suggest for the average dieter. There are several dangerous ingredients in the formula, no free trial and no money-back guarantee. We found no before and after photos and the Epistane website says nothing about taking the prohormone with a fat burner.
