Is there some sort of maintenance plan for once the six weeks is up to further/maintain your results? Do you just keep doing the Burn It Up DVD, or the extra ones or what? I’m interested in this program, but I have a lot of weight to lose and I am just wondering if I would need to come up with a maintenance plan (join a gym, WW, etc.) for after I let this thing kick my butt for six weeks! There seem to be a ton of positive reviews for this program, so I’m definitely considering it, but I want to know exactly what I’m getting myself into before I drop the $$ on it. Thanks ladies!!

there is some sort of maintenance for it i believe you just keep doing the videos maybe alternating the days and what not. but i do find that alot of people once they are done that program they get the turbo jam its supposed to be more intense and very energetic. it doesnt look like one i would start with but if i get the results im hopeing from slim in 6 then i might even look into it. that was my biggest concern regarding the beachbody programs it seems alot of people are buying p90x turbo jam and slim in 6 and doing a whole bunch of videos but it is excercise and hey ur not spending what u would be at the gym and ur in the comfort of your home at your pace. if you read the message boards on the beachbody web site they have people who only do slim in 6 for like a year later they maintain it very well.hope this helps.

I purchased the keep it up dvd and also the slim series. i love these dvds also. i now have variety — you can mix them up so you don’t get so tired of the same thing over and over. glad i purchased them

I was just browsing on e-bay and there is a keep it up video that says it is for use after the six weeks are up. I’m seriously tempted to purchase it.

Here is my update :
I have started the program and been at it for 1 week. Still can’t do the DVD Start it up completely because my arms get sore. I had to take a day off the 4th day because I’m very out of shape. All and all it’s not that hard. I can relate to those who find it redundant for it’s repetitive. I already use the extra exercise on disk one for diversity.
I do not follow the diet eating plan but respect the overall calorie carb/protein intake. I also have been reading up on the relationship our metabolism has with our hormones.
Other than a multivitamin and garlic capsules, I don’t do shakes or any other product that claims to help.
Now as for results? It’s very early to say for I don’t expect results before my 3rd week BUT…
My thighs and torso are firmer I have more energy My acne is starting to clear
To be continued…
