Slim Trimmer Review
What You Should Know
Slim Trimmer claims dieters can use the secrets of Chinese medicine to lose weight. The single indication listed in the product description is simple obesity. We are not sure what the company means by simple obesity as there is nothing simple about obesity – various factors come into play in weight gain and obesity. We assume the company means the supplement is designed for individuals with no underlying medical conditions, but that would be better stated as a warning, not as an indication of how the product is supposed to be used. We were able to locate a complete list of ingredients though few of the ingredients have been clinically tested for efficacy or safety.
List of Ingredients
- Aristolochiae Root
- Red Sage Root
- Hawthorn Fruit
- Buffalo Horn
The product description is not well written, but we can pull a bit of information from the jumbled descriptions. We know the formula contains multiple diuretics. Diuretics can decrease fluid retention and blood pressure. Prescription diuretics are given to patients with high blood pressure, but the patient may not know the supplement works as a diuretic. Dieters taking blood pressure medication should ask their physician if the medication has diuretic effects before taking Slim Trimmer.
According to the makers of Slim Trimmer, the cause of obesity is addiction to fatty and spicy foods. We agree that intake of greasy or high-fat foods may lead to weight gain, but spicy foods may actually help increase metabolism. There is no connection between consuming spicy, healthy foods and weight gain that we are aware of.
Slim Trimmer does not appear to contain stimulants, but there are some questionable ingredients. Capillaries, for instance, is the name of a blood vessel not a supplement. We have no idea what this ingredient is supposed to represent.
- Slim Trimmer ingredients are listed online.
- The manufacturer admits the formula contains multiple diuretics.
- Contains undisclosed ingredients.
- May cause dehydration and water loss.
- May be contraindicated in patients taking blood pressure medication.
- The company associates obesity with spicy foods.
Slim Trimmer is not a safe or effective weight loss supplement. With unknown ingredients and multiple diuretics, we are concerned the dieter could lose electrolytes and become dehydrated while taking the supplement. There are no clinical studies completed on the formula and no reviews from consumers who lost weight taking the supplement.
