Product Details

Muscle Fuel by Steffco International is a product that the company claims will burn fat while building muscle. It contains protein and amino acids, necessary components to build muscle and arguably useful for weight training.

The Good

  • The product is low in calories, fat and carbohydrates.

The Bad

  • There is no company website for Steffco International or Muscle Fuel. The only information came from independent sellers.
  • Customer reviews are mixed, but most agree that this product tastes terrible.
  • There are no free trials.
  • This type of product is more appropriate for body building than for weight loss.
  • Excessive amounts of protein do not support a balanced, healthy diet.

We do not recommend this company or its product. There was no company website and little information was available about the company, so the manufacturer is largely unknown and the information can’t be verified. In addition, this is not a weight loss product. It is designed for muscle building, with fat burning as a side benefit.

We found dozens of customer reviews on different sites, and all commented on the terrible taste of the product. It can probably be improved by blending with ice cream, but that would defeat the low fat, low calorie aspect of the product. The only way to maintain the purported benefits of the product is to mix it in water or some other liquid without fat or calories that does not improve the taste.

Adding large amounts of protein to a diet without weight training is more likely to cause weight gain than weight loss, and will unbalance a healthy diet. Instead, find a trustworthy brand of products with an appetite suppressant or fat burner and add the supplements to a balanced diet that is low in saturated fats and high in fiber, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Get regular exercise every week to watch your waistline shrink.
