Suprexin is one of the latest diet supplements on the market. This pill is manufactured a company called Premiere Marketing, who are based out of Pinehurst, North Carolina. Premiere Marketing are Suprexin’s wholesale distributor; they retail the product to over 3000 distributors, but do not sell Suprexin online themselves. Suprexin claims to suppress appetite, boost energy, boost the metabolism and promote weight loss, all without including any caffeine in the formula. So how does Suprexin increase energy without caffeine, one of the only established energy stimulants? The full active ingredient list for Suprexin is thoughtfully included on the official product website. The first thing we noticed was that Suprexin contains Citrus Aurantium, also called Synephrine, a potent stimulant compound from the same family as the now-bound ingredient ephedra. It also contains decaffeinated green tea extract

Ingredients

All of the ingredients in Suprexin are clearly listed on the official website, which is always good to see.

Lotus Leaf Flavanoidas & Alkaloids, Hawthorne Hyperosides, Green Tea Extract (Decaffeinated), L-Carnitine Tartrate, Citrus Aurantium (Synephrine), Konjac Glucomannan, Panax Ginseng, Danshen, Cassis Tora, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Magnesium Stearate, Stearic Acid, Gelatin, Dextrin, FD&C Red #3, RD&C Yellow #6, Titanium Dioxide.

Product Details

The official Suprexin website directs users to take this pill once daily, ideally in the morning after waking up. The site boasts that a single pill will be effective for 12 hours, and that the Suprexin formula is all-natural. Several of the natural ingredients in Suprexin have been shown to suppress the appetite, including Konjac Glucomannan. This is a fiber that expands in the stomach, simulating fullness. However, it has also been linked to digestive health risk in some studies. The Suggested Use directions also state that users should not eat for at least 20 minutes after taking Suprexin. The manufacturer claims that Suprexin will also boost energy as well as the metabolism, resulting in an “absence of fatigue.”

Conclusion

Suprexin looks like a pretty basic, all natural diet pill. We can’t really see what sets it apart from the crowd. While all of the natural ingredients in Suprexin are sound and it is based on a proprietary blend, we feel like we’ve seen the same thing dozens of times before. Additionally, we know that many shoppers have become pretty accustomed to ordering online, and the fact that the manufactures don’t allow potential customers this option is strange, especially in 2010. Suprexin isn’t the worst choice you could make by any means, but we definitely feel like there are stronger and better researched weight loss supplements available.
