Syntha 6 Protein Review
What You Should Know
Syntha 6 Protein is something more than your typical protein powder. According to BSN, the manufacturer of Syntha 6 Protein, this “ultra-premium” protein can fit into multiple diets and lifestyles. It can be used as a pre-workout shake or diet shake with fantastic results. We agree that the ingredient list is quite impressive, but we’re not sure this product has everything it needs to fit the dieter’s needs.

There are plenty of protein powders out there. Some use only milk-based proteins and others only soy-based proteins. You can find protein powders with egg protein, pea protein, hemp protein and more. Syntha 6 Protein utilizes six different kinds of protein for the ultimate combination to maximize muscle support and protein digestion. We love the fact that the protein powder contains both fast-digesting and slow-digesting proteins. The dieter may not recognize the difference in the shake mix, but the body will notice the difference. Fast-digesting protein works to immediate feed muscles and supply healthy, low fat, low carbohydrate energy. Then, the slow-digesting protein waits behind holding up the digestive process long enough to curb appetite. The dieter goes longer between meals without knowing why they aren’t hungry and they eat less and lose more weight.
While this effect is in theory, there have been clinical studies on the effects of a high-protein diet on appetite, with good results. Even if the dieter consumes too much protein the body will just convert that extra protein to carbohydrates and use the carbohydrates for energy.
There is no a strong vitamin profile in Syntha 6 Protein. The dieter can use the protein powder as part of a vitamin-rich shake made with fruits and vegetables, but not as a standalone supplement for meal replacement.
- Syntha 6 contains six different kinds of protein.
- Both fast-digesting and slow-digesting proteins are included.
- May help suppress appetite.
- May contain food allergens.
- There are 200 calories per serving.
- The vitamin profile is lacking for a meal replacement shake.
We love the protein base for Syntha 6 Protein, but this product is not ideal for the average dieter. Without the vitamins common in diet shakes, the dieter would need to use the protein as part of a fruit smoothie or vegetable smoothie to get all the vitamins needed per meal.
