Test Freak Review
What You Should Know
We love it when companies use creative writing to promote a product. PharmaFreak Technologies, the creator of Test Freak, claims the supplement increases testosterone levels more than 450-percent. Given the fact that most men have enough testosterone for normal body function, increasing that level more than 450-percent is a dangerous effect. Too much testosterone can lead to dangerous side effects, including rage. The increase in testosterone is due to the supplement formula, which includes 2 times the amount of testosterone increasing ingredient compared to other supplements. Taking more of an ingredient does not mean the supplement has a stronger effect.
List of Ingredients
Test Freak Hybrid Pro-Testosterone Formula: (Rapid Release Free Testosterone Amplifier) Testofen (fenugreek) and Trigotest (fenugreek). (Methyl Gallate Ester Testosterone Matrix) Tribulus Terrestris. (Zinc-Test Support Complex) Zinc Aspartate, Magnesium Aspartate and Vitamin B6. (Anti-DHT Complex) SawPalmetto Extract and Stinging Nettle Extract. (Anti-Aromatase Complex) [(S)-2,3-dihydro-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-4-H-1-benzopy-ran-4-one], 5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one and trans-3, 5, 4′-trihydroxystilbene.
Many of the ingredients in Test Freak are familiar and common. Fenugreek is found in many testosterone boosting and bodybuilding supplements, but there is no clinical proof the ingredient has any effect on testosterone. Some experts even believe the supplement inhibits the body’s natural ability to produce testosterone.
Zinc is associated with increased libido and immunity. Zinc stops aromatase. Aromatase is responsible for estrogen production in men. If estrogen production is slowed, testosterone concentrations rise. This does not mean Zinc will increase free testosterone or total testosterone, but the ratio between estrogen and testosterone will favor testosterone.
Vitamin B6 promotes healthy, fast energy. While B12 is commonly used for this purpose, B6 works in much the same way. The body will quickly use vitamin B6 and eliminate the extra. Saw Palmetto may help maintain testosterone levels. When testosterone converts to DHT, men may be at increased risk of prostate problems. Saw Palmetto is commonly marketed as an alternative answer for enlarged prostate or prostate health.
Stinging nettle contains a substance that stops globulin from binding to testosterone. Bodybuilders typically take the herb to boost free testosterone. This effect has been tested clinically.
Test Freak sells for $50 on Bodybuilding.com. PharmaFreak Technologies does not sell the supplement directly. GNC used to sell the supplement, but it is no longer listed for sale on the official website.

Test Freak contains a couple proven ingredients that may help the bodybuilder boost testosterone. However, the claim of boosting total testosterone by 450-percent is simply outrageous. Testosterone is associated with anger and rage, which is one reason prohormones were banned in the United States. The product could boost testosterone enough, however, for the bodybuilder to see a change in definition and strength.
