Themogen 2 Review
What You Should Know
Thermogen 2 is a diet pill by Sci Fit. The diet pill claims to contain the classic ECA stack to promote weight loss. An ECA stack contains ephedra, caffeine and aspirin. Ephedra was banned for use in diet supplements in the United States and is now regulated as an over the counter treatment for asthma or asthma symptoms. In order to purchase ephedra, you need to present a valid government ID and have all purchases tracked. If this supplement contains ephedra, it is illegal for purchase in the United States.
List of Ingredients
- Yohimbe Bark Extract
- MaHuang Extract
- Willow Bark
- Ginger Root
The ingredient list for Thermogen 2 does indeed show ephedra (ma huang), caffeine and aspirin (willow bark). This supplement is not only illegal for sale and purchase in the United States, it is dangerous. The reason ephedra was pulled from the diet market is because the ingredient can cause life-threatening side effects, including increased heart rate, increased blood pressure and death. There are multiple cases of death associated with ephedra use. Ephedra is also addictive, which means the user tends to get used to lower doses and needs more to feel the same effect. Ephedra is associated with street drug production, another reason it was banned.
Guarana is another stimulant included in the formula. The effect of the ECA stack is strong enough without adding another stimulant. Cayenne and ginger root are added to increase the absorption of the other ingredients.
Thermogen 2 is not a product available for sale from Sci Fit, but other online retailers currently offer the product for sale. One of two things is happening. Either the companies are selling outdated product or they have replaced the ephedra with another extra of the same plant and continue to sell the product despite laws banning ephedra. The label, however, lists the banned substance, so we urge dieters to skip this product.
- Ingredients are listed online.
- The formula will increase weight loss.
- ECA is proven to boost metabolism.
- Ephedra is a banned ingredient.
- Is not legal for purchase in the United States.
- Could be outdated product for sale.
Ephedra is not a safe weight loss supplement for all dieters. We suggest using a weight loss supplement with proven, safe ingredients instead of taking a chance that this supplement does in fact contain ephedra and risking negative side effects or legal action if the package is intercepted in the mail.
