ThermAcai claims to improve fat burn and detox the body. The official website makes more claims about detox or cleansing than fat burn, which is common for acai products. Acai berry is a strong antioxidant, but the colon cleansing abilities many manufacturers claim are just not supported in clinical studies or every day use. Many acai supplement companies are listed on consumer reporting websites for their auto0shipment practices and for charging customers without sending products. For this reason, dieters are often wary of any supplement including acai.

List of Ingredients

Acai Fruit, Green Tea Extract, Garcinia Cambogia, Caffeine Anhydrous, Apple Cider Vinegar, Kelp, Grapefruit Powder.

Product Features

We were pleasantly surprised by the ingredient list for ThermAcai. The ingredients are not listed on the official website by Biogenix, but Bodybuilding.com listed every ingredient and the total amount in the supplement. ThermAcai offers 200 mg of green tea per serving, which is less than some supplements and more than others. Typically, more green tea is better, but at least the total amount is listed. We like the fact that green tea is included in this supplement.

Garcinia cambogia is the next important ingredient. We are not sure about this ingredient. Another name for garcinia cambogia is hydroxycitric acid. This was the main ingredient in Hydroxycut when it was pulled from the shelves due to potential liver problems associated with the weight loss supplement. Research is currently being completed in regards to the cause of the liver problems, but some experts believe it was the garcinia cambogia that caused the problem.

Caffeine anhydrous is another name for powdered caffeine. This is a common ingredient used in capsules or tablets. Only 100 mg is included which is much lower than other stimulating supplements. A bit of caffeine is good because it increases heart rate enough to boost fat burn.

Apple cider vinegar is a truly useless ingredient. There is an old wive’s tale that claims the ingredient helps improve weight loss but that claim has never been proven. Acai is the final important ingredient and the base ingredient for most of the ThermAcai claims. Acai does offer great antioxidant benefits for the body, but there are no cleansing properties to the berry. It does not work as a natural laxative.

ThermAcai is manufactured in a warehouse that utilized peanuts for other supplements. This could mean people with peanut allergies should not take the supplement. ThermAcai sells for $9.99 for 60 capsules which is far cheaper than any other weight loss supplement.

Advantages

  • ThermAcai is affordable.
  • There is not too much caffeine included to cause jitters.
  • Acai is a strong antioxidant.

Disadvantages

  • Acai will not detox the body as claimed.
  • The fat burning potential of the supplement is not matched with a strong appetite suppressant.

Conclusion

Dieters may want to give ThermAcai a try because of the low cost, but they should not expect fantastic results. Most often supplements that are priced this low cost less because the ingredients are not pure or may not be included in the supplement at all. Just because the label claims there are 250 mg of acai berry does not mean it is in the product because the Food and Drug Administration does not review natural products. Garcinia cambogia is an ingredient that may cause some concern as there could be a link to liver problems.
