When you want to increase weight loss, break that plateau or just increase your energy in the gym every morning you may start looking for a product like Thermostim. Thermostim is a fat burner with stimulant ingredients that increase energy. The company claims these stimulants will also promote weight loss by boosting metabolism and fat burn. These claims are the basis of every fat burner on the market and most contain many of the same ingredients. Thermostim offers nothing new or spectacular though some of the ingredients are proven to increase metabolism.

Before taking a new fat burner or starting a new diet program dieters should look at the ingredient list in detail. The list shows what is in the formula and, in some cases, how much of each ingredient is included. Taking stimulants in excess can cause negative side effects, including heart palpitations, hypertension and nausea. These side effects can be avoided by using just the proven amount of each ingredient, if applicable.

Product Features

Thermostim depends on stimulants, thus the name, to boost weight loss. Bitter orange is nothing more than synephrine. When ephedra bit the dust, companies used synephrine in the place of ephedra. The formulas did not need to change otherwise. The companies started touting the benefits of synephrine though there were no clinical studies proving it worked as claimed. Today, the FDA is watching synephrine because it causes some of the same side effects as ephedra.

Green tea is a great ingredient, but there is only 120 mg of green tea per maximum dose. That is not enough to boost metabolism with either the caffeine content of green tea or the EGCG content. There is no mention of the green tea extract being standardized for either caffeine or EGCG.

There is 200 mg of caffeine in Thermostim at maximum dose. That is a huge dose of caffeine, but what is more concerning is the fact that there are other stimulants in the formula. Too many stimulants packed together can result in horrible side effects like shakes, jitters and nausea or vomiting. If the dieter is sensitive to caffeine and other stimulants, taking the maximum dose of Thermostim could result in hospitalization.

We think Thermostim is one of those fat burners that dieters should skip. This product is packed full of caffeine and other stimulant ingredients, which can only lead to excessive stimulation and negative side effects.
