Thyax is supposed to help the thyroid run more efficiently and counter hypothyroidism, a condition that can lead to weight gain, fatigue, and other unpleasant symptoms. Those who have hypothyroidism often take medicine to treat the condition, but a health supplement is something that anyone with this health problem should add to his day. It is a more natural approach to boosting the thyroid, but it is not a thyroid medicine, nor is it the T3 hormone that allows the thyroid to run normally. It is not specifically a weight loss aid, but patients who have hypothyroidism feel improvement when the condition is treated with medicine and supplements like Thyax.

List of Ingredients

Vitamin B1 (thiamine HCl), Vitamin B3 (niacin), Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCL), Folic Acid, Vitamin B5 (d-Calcium Pantothenate), Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin), Iodine (Kelp), Magnesium (Oxide), Zinc (Oxide), Copper (Gluconate), Selenium (Sodium Selenite), Manganese (Citrate), Acetyl L-Tyrosine, Molybdenum (as Sodium Molybdate), L-Phenylalanine.

Product Features

Thyax is a supplement that gives the thyroid the nutrients it needs to be healthy. The ingredients are natural vitamins and minerals that are good for the body and can lead to overall health. While the website does not promise weight loss, it does explain the ingredients and why they work. It should be taken with water. The downside is that one should not take more than four capsules per day, and the side effect of taking more is not explained. Taking Thyax can lead to weight loss for someone who has had hypothyroidism or a sluggish thyroid, because the boost to metabolism would help shed weight.

Thyax works best when it is taken with a healthy diet. Results also do not come quickly, as the supplement must be taken for 45-60 days in order to work best, and the user must be willing to commit to taking Thyax for that length of time. The natural ingredients seem to help avoid the side effects that would come from more synthetic supplements, but the warning not to take more than four capsules a day, with no explanation, can lead one to wonder why there is that restriction on something natural.

  • Natural Ingredients.
  • Seems to have few negative side effects.

  • Not a quick solution; must be taken for nearly two months to see results.
  • Not for weight loss; just a supplement.
  • The warning about taking more than four capsules is not explaind, so it is hard to know why there is that restriction.

Thyax is what it claims to be: a health supplement. There is no promise of weight loss, but the user should have some positive effects, perhaps including weight loss, if he takes this supplement regularly and for the recommended length of time. For someone who needs a natural boost to the metabolism, Thyax is a good product, but the user should follow the directions when taking it.

I have been using thyax for 18 mos, and iv’e noticed that i can hardly keep my eyes open during the day after taking it

If you have been taking THYAX for over a year, can you tell about any difference it has or hasn’t made with your thyroid? After 18 months, is becoming groggy after taking it something that has happened since the beginning or is that something recent?

    Thankyou for any input.
