Tom Venuto is a former bodybuilder, personal trainer and the author of the popular eBook “Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle”. According to his official website, Tom Venuto has studied the science of fat burning for years and has developed an exercise and diet routine that he guarantees will increase your metabolism and burn fat while preserving and building lean muscle.

According to Tom Venuto, most diets on the market today sabotage real weight loss because they force the dieter to drop his or her caloric intake to the point where the body starts feeding on muscle tissue rather than fat stores. This triggers the body’s metabolism to slow down in anticipation of continued starvation. If caloric intake is increased once again, the slower metabolism will take the same amount of calories as it had before but will store a larger percentage of them rather than burn them immediately. This is a popular explanation of how the highly-developed human metabolic system works.     Hi Tom, I am going to be 47 this year. I am 5’6″, 120 pounds. Will your book help me get rid of my tummy fat and annoying love handles. I notice a little bit of difference when I don’t drink beer, which I like , but I am sure the carbs are some of my problem. What do you think? HELP

    I have the book and did the program. It works and it’s easy to maintain once you get all your ratios right. I never starved and I always had energy. I highly recommend this program.
