What You Should Know
Tri-Matrix is a thermogenic weight loss supplement that claims to increase metabolism and fat burn. The trouble with many of these supplements is a lack of clinical evidence to back the manufacturer claims. The only real piece of evidence we have to prove or disprove Tri-Matrix claims are the ingredient list. If the ingredients are proven and included in the supplements in effective amounts, the supplement should work as claimed. Dieters should understand there are always exceptions to this rule.
List of Ingredients
Caffeine Anhydrous, Ephedra Extract.
Proprietary Blend: 2-Phenyl-1-aminoethane, Synephrine HCL, 3,7-dihydro-3,7-dimethyl-1H-purine-2,6-dione, Octopamine, 17-hydroxy-yohimban-16-carboxylic acid methyl ester, Guggulserones, L-5-Hydroxytryptamine, SA Hoodia and Green Tea.
Tri-Matrix is either an illegal weight loss supplement or the company is selling an alternative extract from the Ephedra plant in place of stimulant Ephedra. There are 25 mg of Ephedra in this product. We have to assume the Ephedra is authentic. In this case, the dieter would like suffer severe side effects, especially when combined with the 225 mg of caffeine and the synephrine.
Caffeine and synephrine are also stimulants. “No sleep” over the counter medications have 200mg of caffeine, this supplement has 225 mg. This amount of caffeine will cause jitters, nausea, vomiting and increased blood pressure. Synephrine, a third stimulant, will compound the effect.
Hoodia is included as an appetite suppressant. The trouble is Hoodia has been clinically tested. The tests resulted in no appetite suppression. The active ingredient, P57, is metabolized before it can signal the brain to stop hunger.
Green tea is a proven weight loss ingredient. It is included in a proprietary blend, so the dieter has no idea if a proven amount in added to the formula. With the other ingredients, green tea is not as important as it would be in other supplements. The impact of the Ephedra, caffeine and synephrine are enough to overpower the heart. This level of stimulation could cause death.
Tri-Matrix sells for $29.99. The original price was $66.95.

Tri-Matrix is a fat burner that includes Ephedra. There are legal extracts of the Ephedra plant, but they do not work like the stimulant that was banned by the FDA for use in weight loss supplements. Dieters ordering this supplement, which we suggest dieters do not do, should be very cautious. The ingredient list contains several strong stimulants and that could cause severe side effects for most dieters. The price is great but the risk is greater.
