Ultimate Nutrition ISO Sensation Review
What You Should Know
Ultimate Nutrition ISO Sensation is a whey protein processed at cold temperature. Cold temperature processing is supposed to keep whey proteins lactoferrin and immunoglobulin intact. The supplement includes more than a basic protein shake, but there are no specific ingredients that define this supplement as a bodybuilding product. ISO Sensation is not a weight gainer, so the caloric impact is much less at just 130 calories per serving. While there is quite an impressive list of amino acids, there are no vitamins in the supplement so the dieter cannot use ISO Sensation as a meal replacement shake.
List of Ingredients

In the world of bodybuilding, there are hundreds of protein powders and whey supplements to choose from. With so much competition, companies like Ultimate Nutrition need to promote products with that little extra benefit to increase sales and give bodybuilders a reason to choose more products from the company. Ultimate Nutrition falls a bit short of this goal, because the ingredient list is eerily similar to lots of other protein powders.
IsoChill is a cold processed protein powder. Supposedly, this process preserves sensitive protein molecules typically destroyed during heat processing. The only problem we have with this is the fact that lean meat, the typical source of natural protein, is cooked before serving. So if heat breaks down these protein molecules, cooking meat would break down the molecules as well.
There are six flavors of Ultimate Nutrition ISO Sensation – Cafe Brazil, Chocolate Fudge, Cookies and Cream, Vanilla Bean, Strawberry and Natural. Most of the flavors are common, but the natural flavor is unique and useful. The bodybuilder can add this mix to any liquid and not alter the taste.
- Ultimate Nutrition ISO Sensation provides a lean source of protein.
- Contains only 130 calories per serving.
- Not designed for weight loss.
- Does not contain vitamins like a meal replacement shake.
Ultimate Nutrition ISO Sensation attempts to lure in bodybuilders with a fancy cold processing line, but bodybuilders have been bulking up for years without cold processed whey protein. If cold processing is superior to other forms of whey protein, the company should have clinical trials or research studies proving this to the bodybuilder. There are no studies listed on the Ultimate Nutrition website. The “advanced delivery system” are enzymes, which are added to lots of other protein powders.
