Ultra Slim Plus Review
What You Should Know
Ultra Slim Plus is an Indian weight loss supplement that appears to be solid only via Indian weight loss sites. We found the ingredient list easily enough, but that list proves dieters should skip Ultra Slim Plus and keep searching for the best weight loss supplement for them. The manufacturer packs multiple stimulants with a diuretic to leave the dieter hyper and dehydrated.
List of Ingredients
- Yerba Mate
- Green Tea
- Orange Citrus Extract
- Multi Mineral Powder
- Chickweed Powder
- Foti Powder
- Gingko Biloba Extract
- Kelp Powder
- Spinach Powder
- Uva Ursi Leaf Powder
- White Willow Bark
- Panax Ginseng
- Propolis Extract
- Vitamin B12
Yerba mate is a source of caffeine as is green tea and guarana. Three sources of caffeine in one stimulant could mean the dieter is being overdosed with high amounts of caffeine, but without knowing just how much caffeine each ingredient is standardized to, the dieter is taking quite the chance.
Orange citrus extract is another stimulant; more commonly known as synephrine. Synephrine came into popularity when ephedra was being phased out. Supplement companies needed a replacement and synephrine was their golden ingredient. Unfortunately there is no replacement for ephedra and synephrine falls short in effectiveness.
Chromate is a branded form of chromium. We like chromium because it can naturally help stabilize blood glucose so the dieter doesn’t feel that intense pang of hunger shortly after eating.
Uva ursi leaf, on the other hand, is not a weight loss ingredient at all. The diuretic is used as a water loss pill by dieters and bodybuilders. You typically see uva ursi in colon cleansers and fat burners designed for the cutting phase of bodybuilding. Diuretics can increase urine output putting pressure on the kidneys as more urine is moved out of the body. We do not suggest using uva ursi or any other diuretic as a weight loss supplement.
Vitamin B12 is commonly promoted for increased energy, but the energy boost dieters feel after taking vitamin B12 is short-lived. When the body uses up all the vitamin B12 it needs it simply pushes the remaining B vitamin out of the body.
- We were quickly able to find a complete ingredient list for Ultra Slim Plus.
- The supplement contains caffeine green tea and chromium.
- There is at least one ingredient with potentially dangerous side effects in Ultra Slim Plus.
- A diuretic is added to the supplement to fool the dieter into thinking they are losing weight.
If there is one steadfast rule in dieting it is that weight loss takes time – more time than weight gain. Taking a diuretic may make it look like a supplement is working, but the changes on the scale are associated with water loss – not fat loss.
