What You Should Know
Vitalert Energizing Vitamin is like a multi-vitamin and fat burner rolled into one. The ingredient list goes on for days, but it is packed with healthy vitamins and minerals. The fat burner side of Vitalert Energizing Vitamin leaves a bit to be desired. None of the thermogenic ingredients is proven to boost metabolism, so the dieter isn’t getting the most out of the supplement. If the fat burning ingredients included caffeine and green tea, this could be a healthy way to start the fat burning day.

The multi-vitamin part of Vitalert Energizing Vitamin is nothing special. The list contains many of the same vitamins, minerals and trace metals found in other supplements. The proprietary blend is what makes this multi-vitamin different.
The first ingredient is guarana. Guarana fruit extract is a stimulant. Unlike green tea and caffeine, clinical studies in humans do not prove this ingredient boosts metabolism or increases fat burn. Ginkgo biloba improves circulation and memory. The circulation support could help the other ingredients move through the body more quickly. There is no weight loss or energizing benefits to ginkgo biloba.
Gotu kola is not the same as kola nut, so the ingredient does not have thermogenic or stimulant properties. It is commonly used in ancient medicine to stimulate the circulatory system. Rose hips is added to supplements with vitamin C. It improves the absorption of vitamin C.
Vitalert Energizing Vitamin sells for about $20 from various online retailers. We did not find the supplement for sale from the manufacturer or an official website.

Vitalert Energizing Vitamin is not your typically morning multi. The ingredient list includes supplements for memory, increased circulation and energy. If the dieter is taking this supplement, or one like it, they should not be taking a fat burner. Multiple stimulants taken together can cause an unsafe rise in heart rate and blood pressure. The price is great for a fat burner, but it is a bit too expensive for a multi-vitamin.
