VPX Sports CoCo-Fit Review
What You Should Know
VPX Sports is known for strong fat burners and sport supplements, but there is another side to this company. The VPX Sports CoCo-Fit rehydrating drink is designed to restore electrolyte balance after intense exercise. Water and sports drinks are effective in rehydrating fluid, but what about the other elements lost when the body sweats? Sports drinks are supposed to replenish the body with sodium and electrolytes, but they are laden with sugar and offer no natural health benefits. Coconut water is a healthy solution for rehydration and it is packed with some pretty strong health benefits.
List of Ingredients
Purified Water, Natural Flavors, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Stevia, Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate and Vitamin D3.
Proprietary Antioxidant Matrix: Coconut Juice Concentrate and Ascorbic Acid.
VPX Sports CoCo-Fit is a rehydrating drink designed for athletes or people performing intense exercise. Unlike sports drinks, there is very little sodium. The product description makes a few truthful claims about the benefits of coconut juice, but there are a few stretches of the truth that VPX uses to push their new product.
First, the product is low in calories. There is no added sugar, so the only calories in the product come from the added omega 3 fatty acids. The fatty acids are the first problem with the product description. According to VPX, coconut juice contains omega 3s. This could lead the dieter to believe the 33 mg of AHA, DHA and EPA are all-natural and sourced from the coconut, but they are not. The company adds omega 3 fatty acids into the formula.
The label is also pretty impressive showing 100-percent of the daily vitamin C and 250-percent of Vitamin D3. These vitamins are added to the water as well.
As a basic rehydrating drink, coconut juice or coconut water offers very little in terms of health. With the addition of vitamins and omega 3 fatty acids, the VPX Sports CoCo-Fit product is a bit more enticing. There are four flavors available from the official website – Savory Acai Super Fruit, Pomegranate Wild Berry, Mangosteen Mania and Naturally Naked.
- The rehydrating drink is low in calories.
- No added sugar.
- Low in sodium.
- Sold in four flavors.
- Available online.
- Omega 3 fatty acids are added to VPX Sports CoCo-Fit.
- The price is $36, but the buyer has no idea how many bottles are included in one order.
For a healthy alternative to sports drinks packed with simple sugar, VPX Sports CoCo-Fit is ideal. The drink has just 35 calories and packs quite the nutritional punch. Dieters may have to try a few flavors before finding one they like. The price is awfully high so only the most intense athletes and fitness gurus may be stuck with the bill.
