What You Should Know
Women to Women is an internet-based program designed to help women deal with hormone imbalances and related symptoms such as weight gain. The Women to Women philosophy is that many diseases and conditions are caused by hormonal imbalances but that the body is generally able to heal itself if we let it. The program advocates increasing support for the body’s natural functions through supplements and dietary changes and reducing the demands on the body (fatigue, stress, overwork).
Women to Women was developed by a group of physicians whose medical practice is predicated on natural healing. The Women to Women Personal Plan offered over the internet is based on the programs put together for the doctors’ clinical patients.
Product Features
The Women to Women Personal Program starts with asking for a profile, including basic medical information and symptoms experienced. The Program then outlines a plan depending on the severity of symptoms and whether the patient needs to be weaned off of HRT first. The plans include a nutritional supplement collection that includes 33 vitamins and minerals, an eating plan and set of menus, and an herbal endocrine support supplement.
Women to Women also offers one-to-one telephone support with their Nurse-Educators for around $1 per minute. The programs are billed on an ongoing monthly basis and include re-shipments of supplements. There is a 30 day money-back guarantee offered that applies even if all of the supplements have been taken. There is also a free trial period so that patients can try out the program to assess whether it is likely to work for them.
The Women to Women program has generally good customer reviews on the internet. It appears to be effective for women whose weight gain comes from hormonal imbalances or thyroid problems. Many of the testimonials commend the support function as they feel that they can ask questions as they go through the program. Several reviewers of the Women to Women program claim that they felt results within two weeks of starting the program.
Advantages
- Addresses hormonal causes of weight management.
- Provides physician-led program over the internet.
- Provides both free and paid telephone support.
Disadvantages
- Doesn’t address other causes of weight gain.
- Customers may not know whether their weight gain can be solved by hormonal management until they start the program.
- Supplements are shipped and billed on an auto-ship program.
Conclusion
The Women To Women program seems to be effective for many women whose weight issues are caused by hormone imbalances. The problem is identifying if this might be the case. Generally, hormonal imbalances can be suspected if other weight loss aids are not helping. However, if this is the case, you may wish to discuss your weight with your own physician first.

I started the Women to Women program about 2 weeks ago. The night sweats have pretty much stopped and I have been feeling a lot calmer then before I started taking them. I have gotten a couple of calls from them asking how I have been doing. I was looking for a natural way to control my hormones. So far I am satisfied. I was interested in Bioidentical but the cost is so high.I am satisfied with the product so far.

After too many years of not feeling well, I found Women to Women and read article after article on line. I decided that even if it cost a lot of money I HAD to see them – I have been everywhere and done everything and I needed help. Yes, there were some tests that cost money, but in the end it was all worth it. My insurance paid for my visits. I will never stop the supplements – I am WORTH it. There is no price too great for feeling GREAT. I recommend Marcelle and the women at Women to Women.

I’m so glad I read the reviews here, thank you all who used this and contributed, your info was extremely helpful in my decision.

I spent fortune on program and gained weight. I Sam very disappointed in W2W!

I am a previous customer of your program. This is not a reflection of your prgram, but I just had a lumpectomy for a low grade of breast cancer. What I need to know is how soon can I resume my vitamin supplements? Please reply as soon as possible. Thank you so much.
Sincerely, Carol Cooper

I have taken for over two weeks and thought I was feeling better until I became ill last week. stopped taking them for 3days. I thought I had food poisoning. Then when better took my first dose and a few hours later became violently ill. I will send mine back. I can not tolerate the supplements. very disappointed.

I love Women to Women. I’ve been using their products for >6 yr now, at age 52, and have never felt better in my life.

Symptoms: All perimenopausal symptoms – hot flashes, SEVERE mood swings, IRRITABILITY, loss of any feelings for others, running on autopilot, weight gain, fatigue, severe bloating, extreme depression, etc.
After having tests run at my local ob-gyn for thyroid problems and iron deficiency (both came back normal) and being given a prescription for Serafem and feeling like crap for years, I finally found relief. I had ordered the wtw program several months ago, but failed to do anything more than take the vitamins a few times each week. I really wasn’t following the program. I continued to drink beer, eat sweets, and “diet” to lose weight. I kept sinking lower and lower and couldn’t do anything about it. At the end of May, when I hit a really, really low point I finally sat down and read the Personal Program for Hormonal Imbalance and decided to give it a real try.
Well, 2 weeks later (and 7 lbs lighter) I AM A BELIEVER!
I have been following their Level I Detox for these past two weeks, eating nothing but healthy grains, proteins, fruits and veggies – no alcohol, no refined sugar, no caffeine, no processed foods. I am eating more than I have in years and feeling healthier! I am balancing my proteins and carbs with each of my 3 meals and 2 snacks each day. I am NOT COUNTING CALORIES! I am NOT FEELING DEPRIVED! I am full and my husband is so happy to have back the “girl” he married that HE IS ON THE PROGRAM WITH ME!!! Not the vitamins – but he is eating the same as I am and he has lost 8 lbs and is feeling better every day! He also noticed that his back is feeling better this week (he has two ruptured disks.) All I can say is that I’ve already recommended this program to several friends and family members. My husband keeps telling all of his buddies about it. The funny thing is… I was thinking about divorcing him because I thought he was making me miserable… but it is amazing what a transformation has come over HIM since I’VE been on the program. (Hmmm.. maybe it was me after all?!)
My energy level is not back up yet (but I also just had the flu – which I kicked in only 3 days instead of my normal 7 – 10!) But I think with time (and increasing my activity level from couch potato to maybe 20 minutes each day) I will see an improvement.
Well, it may not work for everyone, and yes the oil capsules bothered my stomach, so I don’t take them – but I will stay on the program for LIFE! Sometimes you must reach rock bottom before you can pull yourself out.
For those of you who want a pill to take to make it all better – well, this is not for you. You have to commit to taking better care of yourself. You have to tell yourself that you deserve to feel better and to quit eating and drinking all the crap that the companies are manufacturing for us. Like I said, 2 weeks and I’m a LIFER! Next, I’m going to work on getting more exercise.

Allison, I’m considering the women to women program and would like to know if the program continues to work for you.

I think it’s best to just get your hormone leves tested and see a doctor before doing this. Why guess if it will help? And there are many supplments that you can look up and buy on your own to help if you do some research.
[Reply]
I have been taking the supplement and following the program for about 10 days now, and so far I am really feeling better! The vitamins have no negative side effects! They digest well and don’t make me feel tired like most supplements! Time will tell, but so far I give it thumbs up!
[Reply]
DO NOT FALL FOR WOMEN TO WOMEN! RIP OFF! IT IS A BUNCH OF VITAMINS FOR HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS! SERIOUSLY – YOU CAN GET ALL THE VITAMINS FOR HUNDREDS CHEAPER! THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. THEY ARE A SCAM!

I agree W2W is a marekting ploy, albeit a good one. Prays on issues that are both on the frontline and sooo confusing to women. I ordered the vitamins after going thru the questionaire, very expensive and they didn’t do the job (fatique, sweats, hot flashes)
[Reply]
I have tried the adrenal program.
I have been taking the pills for three weeks. After two weeks, I have experienced some problems: nausea, brain pain , fatigue..
I called them today and asked me to send back the boxes and they will send me my money back.
Now, maybe my metabolism does not tolerate the pills but believe me, it is not worth the try because I have stooped taking the pills three days ago and I am still not feeling well.
[Reply]
Too expensive and no results has been my experience. The tablets are a little large but easy enough to swallow. I like that the Ca/Mg supplement is separate so you can take it whenever. The customer service response time and quality of support has been mediocre. They absolutely do not know how to advise on calories/nutrition. The fish oil caps are bad – do not take them unless you want to upset your stomach! Will discontinue this program as soon as run out. Will start up on Country Life vitamins again – much better cost and quality seems to be okay.
[Reply]
Thank you for sharing your experience with W2W, I have been considering their program for over a year and now am glad I didn’t. I always thought the cost was too high.
[Reply]
I am very happy to have found some reviews of this clinic. I have been considering using W2W for a year or more, but the cost and the fact that I don’t know for sure if my issues (fatique, weight gain, low low libido, difficulty concentrating etc.) are due to a hormonal imbalance and not just hypothyroidism. I also am leary of buying supplements over the internet from a clinic that markets their own products. I have been unable to locate a physician in central Illinois area. If anyone has found a Dr. in the Illinois, Missouri or Indiana area that helps women with these issues I would appreciate the information.
[Reply]
You may want to save your money on W2W and find a good endocrinologist! They seem to be in short supply though.
[Reply]
Kay, have you found an endocrinologist to work with your symptoms yet? I am also in the central Illinois area and have not had any luck!

I have to say, so far I think Women to Women is a money pit. I have been very disatisfied with the treatment plan and have spent $800 out of pocket (between first appt., supplements and blood work). Prescriptions have not been followed through on, phone calls have not been returned (it takes up to 48 hours for a nurse to return your phone call) and they charge you another fee for someone to go over test results from blood work that was taken in the initial visit. I have never ever heard of that where a doctor asks for a fee to go over your results. They have a Adrenal Stress Test Kit, a box with a 3 vials in it and they charge you $20 for that kit. I have had to do that test before and was only charge $10 which is what another physician had charged me. I have been taking the supplements and have ended up with terrible heartburn. I have to say at this point that I am sorry I spent the money on my initial visit and just wished I had gone to see a highly recommended Endocrinologist in my area.
[Reply]
I agree with Diane and have had a similar experience. Traveled to Maine to be seen. I had met with Marcelle Pick and was given a battery of tests to take home and do over time. $60.00 to purchase the kits. I went back next day to go over the
instructions, it was alot of info and very confusing. They said I had so many issues, I was feeling hopeless at that point,
why else would I go there. They claim to be able to help and I was charged to go over the info again. Everytime I called I got a different person, no follow up with same persons. All costs were not covered by insurance, and I went there because I needed help and they said they accept my insurance. The blood work in their office also not covered. Felt very taken and truly got the run around. No one has ever called to inquire after I stopped calling. This was was last March, 2010. Have since found someone locally to address my hormone issues. My estrogen was low and I felt better soon after I was put on it. I never did take those tests, it would have been another approximate, $1,000.00, also not covered by insurance, and I am completely fine now. Glad I was able to get someone locally to help and not rip me off and worst to have waited 6 weeks (and feeling horrible) before they would follow up with me had I taken their tests. They kept me suffering without any feedback and said I needed to take their tests before they could give me answers. They had requested all my medical history, which they have not utilized also. Wasted so much time and money. Can’t believe the poor treatment and lack of consideration after travelling to their office from out of state.
The stress I experienced from dealing with them was totally
unacceptable and unprofessional.

I have been on their program since April 2012. Two month ago, I called them about my high cholesterol level in my latest blood test. The lady said she couldn’t provide any medical related advice and told me to continue my program (vitamin pills & herbal supplement). In my initial call, the lady told me that my symptoms will go away after 3 months, but I am still having severe hot flashes. What’s the purpose of those women answering the phone? Tell me to talk my pills? In my opinion, this program sells vitamin pills and herbal supplements at probably higher quality than neighborhood supermarkets, that’s all!

I’m into the third month on the W2W Personal Program. I have lost the 10 pounds I gained around the middle and no longer have night sweats or hot flashes unless I eat chocolate and drink wine in the evening. Even then, the hot flashes/night sweats are minimal. It has been good for me and I plan to continue with the program. The only dietary change I made was to eat protein with every meal. I had already begun to change my diet in an effort to shed weight but that didn’t happen until I started with W2W’s supplements. Then the weight came off quickly at the rate of 2-3 pounds a week.

My issue was menopausal symptoms. I tried everything OTC, and prescription. I have to say this was by far the best treatment for me. This program helped 100% toward hot flashes, mood swings, and everything in between. I took only 1/2 of the recommended dose, and it worked for me. I like being able to control the automatic my shipping date too. I LOVE this product! I am on my 8th month!! Awesome and thank you for helping me through menopause Women to Women.

has anyone else had an upset stomach from these products, or heart pain/discomfort?
[Reply]
As long as you skip the oil caps, it does not upset the stomach. I’ve learned that not just this supplements EFA, but almost every oil cap (pharmaceutical, high cost, or not) has been rancid. I take their tablets and buy another brand for EFA (Carson or Coromega fish oil)

for the first several days they gave me an upset stomach but now as long as I take them with a meal, I’m fine.

the vitamins are crazy expensive- $75-90 per month, per bottle! I mean come on. 1 in 7 Americans are below poverty level. Why don’t they make it more affordable if they really want to help everyone? These supplements are only for the rich. I really want them and just can’t afford $100+ a month for vitamins – even if it will help.
[Reply]
I agree. Especially w/o knowing if my weight gain and fatigue are related to hormonal issues. Even with the 90 day guarantee, I can’t afford the out of pocket to TRY something.
[Reply]
You r totally right! I feel the same way.

Would someone comment on their participation in the osteoporosis aspect of Women to Women? I’m considering joining.

Does Women to Women have a program and experts who deal with osteoporosis?

I am considering using the WomentoWomen supplement program that is available online. I would like to know the opinions of any who have used this program as to the effectiveness.

I really like this program. My personal Dr had me on depressants etc.I found this online and thought it would be better than HRT. The program has eliminated all night sweats, hot flashes and has helped with my irritability! I am beginning my 4th moonth. I feel so much better..I don’t want to stop the program. The only thing it hasn’t help with is my libido—no change..ugh!
[Reply]
Did it help with weight gain? I am thinking I have a thyroid problem and the bloodwork comes back that the test is in the “normal” range. But I’ve gained over 20 pounds and have had a problem with hair loss, don’t get adequate sleep. I’m in menopause now.
[Reply]
Hey….I am on the women to women program and pulled up this customer rating…I notice the problems you have posted…I am doing the exact things….I noticed your post is in April 2010…did you ever get relieve from your symptoms listed above?
normal range is just the range that doctors wont diagnose hypothyroid or hyperthyroid you could still have problems well within the “normal” range. the problem is if you go ahead with no idea what your hormone balance is you could do more harm than good. I would consult a doctor and ask for the actual lab tests back. Most everyone in todays world has their hormones out of wack in some way. just do the research and when in doubt natural is the safe treatment.
What are causes of hormonal imbalances apart from weight gain?
