Xedra Cut XT Review
What You Should Know
Xedra- Cut XT is a supplement developed by Ultimate Sports Nutrition and sold in the United Kingdom. There are no ingredients in the formula banned from the United States, but USN sells different supplements in different countries. Ingredients are packaged in proprietary blends, so no real information about efficacy can be researched. We can offer a look at how effective each ingredient would be in proper amounts.
Xedera-Cut XT sells in three sizes- 50s, 100s, and 200s. Prices for each are $26.43, $43.54, and $66.88 respectively. The prices will change based on the pound to dollar conversion for a given day.
List of Ingredients
M-phR Multi Phase Proprietary Blend: Evodia Rutaecarpa, Carraluma Fimbriata, Capsicum, Citrus Aurantium, Fucoxanthin, L-Tyrosine, Iodotyrosine, Diidotyrosine, Banaba.
USN-XT Proprietary Blend: Natural Caffeine, Green Tea Extract, Yerba Mate, Glucuronolactone, Naringin.
Evodia Rutaecarpa is considered a natural fat burning ingredient by many alternative companies. The herb is classified as a mild stimulant and diuretic. Most stimulants are mild diuretics, so this is nothing new, but claims of increased weight loss are based on the mild stimulant effect which may not be strong enough to increase heart rate in dieters who drink caffeine regularly.
Carraluma Fimbriata is an edible cactus plant used as part of the common diet in certain parts of India. The cactus is cooked, pickled, and eaten raw. According to a report published by the Food and Drug Administration, Caralluma Fimbriata is known for its qualities of appetite suppression.
Capsicum is the name for pepper. This could mean bell pepper or hot pepper. Bell peppers have no weight loss benefit aside from being a low calorie food. Hot peppers, however, are proven to increase metabolism. Citrus Aurantium is Synephrine. Synephrine replaced Epehdra in many supplements when the ingredient was banned. It has many of the same stimulant qualities and, potentially, many of the same side effects.
Fucoxanthin is derived from brown seaweed and has shown promise in the weight loss market. Animal testing revealed the extract can help burn white fat tissue in lab animals. No human studies have been completed to prove the effect occurs in humans. Banaba extract is also used in Indian cultures to regulated blood sugar levels. We assume this ingredient is used to replace chromium. Banaba contains corosolic acid, which may help effect insulin resistance to evoke weight loss. The USN-XT blends caffeine and green tea as the most effective ingredients in this supplement.
- A few ingredients show promise for promoting weight loss.
- Green tea and caffeine are proven ingredients.
- Prices are comparable though they will change daily.
- Some ingredients are vague like Capsicum.
- Proprietary blends offer no ingredient amounts for dieters.
We like some of the ingredients in Xedra-Cut XT. Green tea and caffeine are the best, but a few others used in India show promise. Human research would have to be completed before we could support using ingredients like Caralluma and Banaba.
