Yellow Subs Review
What You Should Know
Yellow Subs was developed several years ago when Ephedra was legal. According to the website selling the supplement, Ephedra is still legal, but that is not the case. This Yellow Subs review attempts to take an outsiders look at all ingredients and give the dieter a clear look at the potential risks verses rewards of taking the supplement. At no time does this Yellow Subs review claim that Ephedra is a weight loss ingredient that should be trusted.
List of Ingredients
Mormon Tea (Ephedra 10 mg), L-Phenylalanine, Green Tea, Caffeine Anhydrous, Cayenne, Theobromine, Jaborandi, NADH.
The first ingredient is listed as Mormon Tea, but it is the source of Ephedra in this product. Mormon tea includes 10 mg of Ephedra, a small amount compared to some of the other supplements available at the time this supplement was developed. The manufacturer could have been trying to reduce the amount of Ephedra to decrease the risk of side effects, but that is just a guess.
The next ingredient is L-Phenylalanine. L-Phenylalanine is an anti-depressant herb that should not be taken by dieters with mental conditions. The effect on the body is often one of calmness, which could be the reason the ingredient is added. Ephedra commonly caused increased heart rate and anxiety.
Green tea, caffeine, and Theobromine are all sources of caffeine. Ephedra was commonly formulated with caffeine because caffeine prolonged the Ephedra effect. Cayenne is an interesting ingredient that we commonly see in Ephedra based products. Cayenne is proven to increase metabolism without the threat of harmful side effects.
Jaborandi is a unique ingredient we rarely see in weight loss supplements. This perennial plant is used to treat dry mouth and induce sweating in alternative medicine. NADH helps cells convert food into energy.
During our Yellow Subs review, we found several ingredients that stimulate the heart in addition to the Ephedra included in the supplement. This weight loss product can cause significant side effects including increased heart rate and increased blood pressure. People have are allergic to chocolate should not take the supplement nor should people with heart disease, diabetes, or thyroid disease. Yellow Subs sells for $35.99 per 100 capsules. The suggested dose is one capsule, but we have no idea how many times it should be taken every day.
