Belly Blaster PM claims to “support metabolism and promote a natural sleep cycle.”
This “nighttime fat loss formula” sure has my attention – I just need to ask:
What does this supplement have that’s so effective?
Ah, it’s the question that’s seared itself into the forefront of my brain and won’t release its grasp until I somehow come up with an answer. Belly Blaster PM offers a range of ingredients (listed below) that they claim to be effective and backed by science. The only problem? There is no actual proof of these ingredients working for fat loss.
Intrigued? You should be.
Check out these 5 facts you NEED to know about Belly Blaster PM.
Let’s jump in together…
What is Belly Blaster PM?
To begin with, Belly Blaster PM is an evening fat loss formula. The ingredients are l-tryptophan, melatonin, raspberry ketones, white kidney bean, green coffee bean, saffron flower and lemon balm. The recommend dose is one capsule, 30 minutes before sleep. It supposedly promotes fat loss and increased metabolism.
The company behind Belly Blaster PM is Liquid Supps, a business that was started in 2010. The supplement is sold on the official website and through trusted retailers. We do like tit contains a few natural ingredients and that we found some positive customer comments, but read on…
Belly Blaster PM Side Effects – “Not Good”
The first negative relating to Belly Blaster PM side effects was severe pain. “If you take a supplement at bedtime, you expect to sleep through the night,” said our Research Editor. “But a product negatively affecting your rest patterns may not be worth a try.”
“These pills made me nauseous and kept me up all night. Not worth it,” said a user.
“This product made it very hard for me to sleep. I was jittery and anxious every night. Lots of bloating and nausea in the morning,” voiced a consumer.
When you keep looking you can find some positive comments. One woman shared her husband’s experience, “there were no side effects when he woke up the next day.”
Another user said, “I had no weird or strange side effects from taking this.”
Ineffectiveness – “Marketing Hype”
Several dieters reported Belly Blaster PM didn’t live up to the hype. Many tried the supplement and did not lose weight. “I exercised regularly, ate less, and took these as directed. I did not lose a pound,” said a user.
“Waste of money. Didn’t make me sleep any better and did nothing for my body at all,” commented a dieter.
“I tried belly blaster for 1 month, I have seen no difference,” stated a customer.
There are some supporters out there. One positive comment said, “I’ve noticed weight loss and I’m happy.”
A dieter shared, “I find this to be a good tool to go along to diet and exercise in weight loss.”
Our research shows that one particular issue, like ineffectiveness, could cut the chances of long-term success. If Belly Blaster PM doesn’t work, that’s concerning.
The Science – “Any Proof?”
According to the Belly Blaster PM description, the supplement contains “clinically studied” ingredients. Just because the parts that make up the product have been tested, doesn’t mean the research showed results. For example, raspberry ketones has been mentioned in science circles, but it’s often considered a “fad” ingredient with no clinical backing. For us at DietSpotlight, finding science backing weight-loss claims is critical. If a company doesn’t produce the facts, we turn the other way.
What Users Are Saying
"Helping me sleep better and definitely feeling less bloated. I am a Woman who is very active and I watch my diet. Regardless, I started to feel bloat in my belly. First time ever. 52 years old. This definitely has made me more comfortable and I will order this product again."
"Have been using BellyBlaster PM for over 30 days without any weight loss. I will continue to use until the 60 capsule count bottle is gone, but won’t reorder unless by some miracle the pounds drop off. I do moderate exercise 2-4 or more times a week and already eat healthy. Just needed to get rid of 10-15 lbs and was hoping this would works since most people seemed to have success."
"This worked unexpectedly but not at the time I was taking it. When I received the product and started taking it I I didn’t see any results. But almost 2 to 3 weeks after I dropped a few pounds (used the restroom) and felt like I lost 20lbs."
"Ok, so I’ve only been using this product for 11 days, so I’m not really surprised that the weight hasn’t fallen off like some of the other reviews have claimed but I will provide another update in a few weeks. I’m not overweight, and am just looking to lose about 15 pounds to get back to my pre-marriage weight! I do not eat like a pig, I eat veggies and fruits, drink soda once in a while, but I do lack portion control. This product has suppressed my appetite and although I go to bed late, I do seem to have more energy."

"I did not see any additional weight loss using this product!"
The Bottom Line – Does Belly Blaster PM Work?
Give me a drum roll please. After thoroughly investigating Belly Blaster PM, we like that it contains a few natural ingredients and some supportive user reviews were found, but we’re concerned about this one because there’s no research supporting the claims. Plus, we’re skeptical due to customer comments about negative side effects and lack of results.
If you’d like to kick butt with your diet plan, we recommend a product that is backed by clinical proof, that doesn’t come with side effects or “fad” ingredients.
Among the best products we’ve seen this year is our product called Dietspotlight Burn. The formula is a proprietary blend of four ingredients. All clinically-tested with results often located in studies from The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
Also, we’re so confident that you’ll love our supplement, that we’re offering a Special Trial Offer, which is a good sign.

Belly Blaster PM is supposed to knock out those extra inches on your belly while you sleep. There is no official website and the company behind the product doesn't mention it any longer. Partner that with the fact that science doesn't tend to favor nighttime supplements and you're not left with much.

Green Coffee Bean Extract
Green Coffee Bean Extract comes from the unroasted coffee bean.
What is it Supposed to Do?
An experiment was done by the Gastroenterology Research and Practice journal that proved Green Coffee Bean Extract leads to weight-loss. “The evidence from RCTs seems to indicate that the intake of GCE can promote weight loss…The main purpose of this systematic paper was to assess the efficacy of GCE as a weight loss supplement. The overall meta-analysis revealed a significant difference in change in body weight between GCE and placebo.” Though they did prove this, they also wrote, “…several caveats exist. The size of the effect is small, and the clinical relevance of this effect is uncertain. More rigorous trials with longer duration are needed to assess the efficacy and safety of GCE as a weight loss supplement.”
Raspberry Ketones is a compound that is found in raspberries, blackberries, and cranberries. The basic aroma compound is that of raspberries.
What is it Supposed to Do?
Raspberry Ketones are said to help with hair loss and may promote weight-loss.
One study done by the Life Sciences journal starts off by stating, “The structure of RK is similar to the structures of capsaicin and synephrine, compounds known to exert anti-obese actions and alter the lipid metabolism. The present study was performed to clarify whether RK helps prevent obesity and activate lipid metabolism in rodents.” They continue to talk about why Raspberry Ketones are used as weight-loss supplements. Though there was a good amount of data proving it could promote weight-loss, the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition writes a paper explaining, “Raspberry ketone is an ingredient found in raspberries (Rubus idaeus) that may have weight loss potential given preliminary findings in rodents and cell cultures, i.e. prevention of weight gain during a high-fat diet, and enhanced norepinephrine-lipolysis, increased adiponectin expression, and translocation of hormone-sensitive lipase in adipocytes. To date, however, the effects of raspberry ketone in humans remain unexplored.”
White Kidney Bean Extract
The White Kidney Bean, also known as the navy bean, haricot, white pea bean, etc., is a small, oval, and flat white bean that is used in many dishes.
What is it Supposed to Do?
The White Kidney Bean may help lower cholesterol.
Based on a study conducted by the Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, White Kidney Bean Extract does promote weight-loss. They wrote, “Subjects who adhere to a program including dietary modification, exercise, and behavioral intervention can significantly reduce their weight and waist size in a short period of time. In an exploratory analysis of data, the tertile of subjects who ate the most carbohydrates experienced a significant reduction in both weight and waist size with the addition of the white bean extract compared to the placebo group of the same tertile of carbohydrate consumption.”
Saffron Extract comes from the spice of the Crocus sativus flower, also known as Saddron Crocus. It can grow up to 30cm and it is native to Southwest Asia.
What is it Supposed to Do?
Saffron can be used to improve depression, sooth menstrual discomfort, and it can help with coughing and asthma.
Garcinia Cambogia Extract
Garcinia Cambogia Extract comes from the fruit of Garcinia, also known as the Brindleberry. It is a small, green, pumpkin like fruit that is found in Indonesia.
What is it Supposed to Do?
Garcinia Cambogia Extract is claimed to help promote weight-loss, joint pain, and act as a laxative.
Belly Blaster PM Scientific Abstracts:
7 subjects with insomnia were given L-tryptophan for 5 consecutive nights or for 10 consecutive nights, experienced elevations in total sleep and non REM sleep in comparison to placebo. Because decreasing brain serotonin by synthesis suppression decreased REM sleep and raising brain serotonin by 5-hydroxytryptophan intake was found to increase REM sleep, it could be likely that L-tryptophan creates its effects via a non-serotonin mechanism. Additional evidence for this theory comes from the fact that L-tryptophan created substantial elevations in non-REM and reductions in REM sleep within the presence of a drug called p-chlorophenylalanine, which inhibits the metabolism of tryptophan to serotonin.
It was noticed that within sham-pinealectomized rats there was a moderate immunostaining of leptin. This effect was heavier in pinealectomized rats and lower in melatonin-treated pinealectomized rats. The data from the study suggested that pinealectomy triggers leptin secretion in anterior pituitary cells. This elevation of leptin synthesis could be prevented by melatonin intake. It was concluded that melatonin could possess physiological, as well as pharmacological, activities on leptin synthesis within the anterior pituitary of male rats.
Green Coffee Bean Extract
Studies showed that green coffee bean extract enriched with 70% total chlorogenic acids (GCB-70 ) was safe and strong, which potentiates antioxidant effectiveness against oxidative stress, improved cognitive functions and regulates blood pressure. Additionally, GCB-70 sped up fat and glucose metabolism, and could very well be an effective tool for weight management. The results of the study were promising, and further research studies are currently in progress.
Analysis displayed a significant reduction in overall body fat percentage within the participants receiving high amounts of raspberry ketone (p = 0.007). In addition, there were no important differences found within the participants receiving low amounts of raspberry ketone (p= 0.359), or within the control or placebo subject groups (p = 0.405). In conclusion, the results from the study determined an overall reduction of 0.575% body fat in the high treatment participants, and the low treatment participants experienced a reduction of 0.375% with the control subjects experiencing 0.150% raise in body fat.
White Kidney Bean
There were no significant adverse side effects noted after intake of the white kidney bean supplement. The gastrointestinal side effects were few and vanished upon extended use of the supplement. It was concluded that the white kidney bean supplement has the potential to deliver weight-loss as well as decreasing spikes in blood sugar which are caused by carbohydrates.
