What is Blessed Herbs?

First thing, Blessed Herbs is an all natural product line that claims to be doctor formulated. The ingredients in Blessed Herbs products varies based on the product selected.

Blessed Herbs was founded in 1985. They provide more than 600 premium bulk herbal products and individual herbs to retailers, health professionals, and herbalists throughout the United States and around the world. In 2001, the company introduced a line of maintenance and herbal cleansing kits which have become some of their most popular offerings but read on…

Price – “Are Blessed Herbs Products Expensive?”

The first issue we have is the price of their more popular kits. The Internal Cleansing Kit is priced at $275. The product is a 21-day program. According to our Research Editor, “Considering this is only for a three-week program, the price is quite high. Even the individual products from the company are on the higher end for the niche.”

A dissatisfied purchaser insisted, “I bought the Cleansing Kit, and it was basically like flushing money away. It cleaned me out internally, but I didn’t have any lasting results other than losing about $300.”

One quipped, “I’ve bought a few of their supplements but can’t justify paying more for them anymore.”

Others were very fond of the brand.

An optimistic commenter said, “I love Blessed Herbs. I feel like they care about me as a customer so I don’t mind paying more.”

Ingredients – “Lack of Information.”

Many of the products offered by Blessed Herbs list proprietary blends in the ingredients list which makes it difficult to ascertain the amount of each herb in the formula.

This frustrated shopper expressed, “I bought the Digestive Stimulator, but it didn’t stimulate anything. I thought it would based on the ingredients because usually, aloe is good for that sort of thing, but it just didn’t work.”

While another disclosed, “I thought the Friendly Bacteria Optimizer would be good for me because it sounded impressive but the more I researched it, the less actual information I could find proving the multiplier blend even had a reason to be there.”

Others were only concerned with the results.

There was a positive reviewer who explained, “I have no idea exactly what’s in it or why it works, I only care that it’s working.”

According to our research, most dieters have become more interested in the science behind the supplements they are taking. They want solid information that assures them each component has been thoughtfully included and will help rather than harm them. They also want to know that they are getting the best value for their money. When a company fails to prove either point, they will quickly find customers going elsewhere.

The Science – “Moderate.”

At DietSpotlight we expect companies to offer substantial evidence explaining the choice of ingredients and their efficacy. Many of the product pages did list the benefits of the individual ingredients as they pertained to the formulation. However, they failed to list exact amounts included and if they were sufficient to provide the promised results. Further, there were no studies indicating their proprietary blends were effective.

The Bottom Line – Does Blessed Herbs Work?

Is there a benefit to using products from Blessed Herbs? That depends on the person. But, there simply isn’t enough evidence to support the price the company charges and the effectiveness of the supplement line.

If you’re ready to lose weight, we suggest you consider a product backed with solid scientific data and not generalizations. Ideally, the company behind a weight-loss product should be willing to prove their concept to interested consumers and offer consultations with a highly trained customer-service department.

Among the best products we’ve seen this year is Leptigen. The formula contains four key ingredients that have been shown in clinical research to help boost fat loss and increase metabolism. Our research process didn’t uncover user reviews about harmful side effects, but it did turn up numerous examples of clients sharing their excellent results.

The makers of Leptigen are so excited about their product they’re offering a Special Trial Offer, which is very reassuring.
