Kegenix claims to be a line of “premium, patented, revolutionary ketosis products that help keep your body in a state of ketosis throughout the day.” We’ve done a fair share of research on ketosis, so this could be great, but let’s dig into the ingredients and possible side effects first. We also felt customers had something to say, so we read tons of reviews. Finally, we wrap everything up here to give you the bottom line.

What is Kegenix?

To start with, Kegenix is a dietary supplement used with the ketogenic diet. The ingredients include:

  • Amino Acids
  • Green Tea Extract
  • Medium Chain Triglycerides
  • Vitamins and Minerals
  • Protein Blend

Kegenix also contains erythritol, stevia, and beta-hydroxybutyric acid. Add one pouch to 8-12 ounces of water, stir and drink. You only need to consume this product once daily; in the mid-morning. It’s supposed to help boost energy levels by up to 225 percent, stimulate metabolism, curb food cravings, and burn off unwanted fat, while preserving lean muscle tissue.

It appears that Kegenix was first released in 2016. You can purchase the ketogenic diet supplement through the official website. We like that some of the ingredients, like green tea extract and amino acids, are backed by science. [1][2] We also found some positive customer comments, but read on…

Unpleasant Taste – “Can You Handle It?”

One concern is the unpleasant taste. According to our Research Editor, “Some users have complained about the flavor of Kegenix ketosis drinks. This may pose a problem for some people since you’re directed to drink this supplement daily.”

One customer stated, “The taste is terrible because of the protein. [3] I gag when I drink it. Very sour. Also, it contains 12 carbs and 20 grams of fat per serving.”

Then again, a different user commented, “Product tastes good and works well for me. Lots of energy [4] and focus, and helps me get into ketosis with ease.”

“I do like this product. My only issue with it is that it definitely interferes with my sleep,” posted another.

Kegenix Side Effects – “Watch Out”

Another issue is Kegenix side effects. Some people have reported unpleasant adverse reactions such as jitters, sleeplessness, fast heartbeat and confusion. In fact, one user said, “This stuff made me feel horrible. After taking just one packet as directed, I had mild palpitations [5], dizziness and depersonalizations. On day two, I experienced serious leg cramps and had frequent trips to the bathroom to urinate.”

However, a different person revealed, “It’s not bad. Tastes like Tang. Not sure it reduces body fat, but it does increase energy.”

Another posted, “It works okay. But who can afford this stuff? Bought it from the website, and it was $147 for a 30-day supply.”

Our intensive research has revealed that if there is a particular aspect of a diet supplement or weight-loss program that is especially bothersome (unpleasant taste, side effects, steep price) the probability of long-term success is quite low. In other words, if Kegenix does in fact taste bad to a lot of people, this could be a serious problem.

The Science – “Is Any Presented?”

Well, Kegenix does contain electrolytes and medium chain triglycerides. It also provides some vitamins and minerals. These ingredients may help elevate energy levels [6] and improve focus. It contains some green tea extract. This component has been shown to boost metabolism. On the other hand, the unpleasant taste and side effects may be too much for some people to handle.

What Users Are Saying

“I didn’t expect it to help me with my energy levels- but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I’ve tried a lot of supplements for energy before and this is very different. The only stimulant it contains is a little green tea, so It hasn’t made me shakey or nervous and has made working out so much easier.”

“Yes, it’s expensive and it definitely put a ding in my wallet, but I figure it’s a little under 5 dollars a day and I don’t drink energy drinks anymore so it evens out. Plus, the headaches and fatigue are definitely gone. I will take the one month supply and gauge how I feel afterward. If I need it later, I will continue.”

The Bottom Line – Does Kegenix Work?

Now the moment you’ve been waiting for. Here is our bottom line on Kegenix drink packets. To begin, we like that this supplement contains some vitamins, minerals and electrolytes. We also appreciate that three different flavors are available. But we have some reservations about this product because some users have experienced unwanted side effects. Also, we’re a little concerned about the less-than-savory taste and fat price tag.

If you’d like to shed more pounds, then we suggest you go with a product that does not have an unpleasant taste, will not lead to any harsh side effects and does not cost you an arm and a leg.

Among the best products we’ve seen this year is one called Dietspotlight Burn. Its unique formula is a proprietary blend of four ingredients. Some of which have been shown in documented clinical research to help ignite metabolism and improve fat loss. We have not seen any discouraging user feedback, and the comments around the web express people are seeing wonderful results.

The makers of Dietspotlight Burn are so sure about their product they’re offering a Special Trial Offer, which is a positive sign.
