Leptitox is a vegetable-based detox formula that claims to control appetite and to support weight loss. However, hundreds of products on the market make these same claims. We decided to dig deeper into Leptitox to see what makes it different from all those other brands.
Our research team looked into the ingredients list to see what side effects could be caused when taking this product. They also looked into the company that makes Leptitox and how true the company’s claims were.
Leptitox is a supplement that claims to help with weight loss, detox, and appetite control. The three main ingredients, based on the label, are beta-hydroxybutyrate or BHB. BHBs are ketones commonly used in keto supplements, but there’s no mention of anything ketogenic about the product.
Before delving deeper into Lepitox, let’s see what some of the research has to say about BHBs and weight loss:
Nutrition & Metabolism: BHBs naturally become elevated in the body after low-calorie and low-carbohydrate dieting.
Current Developments in Nutrition: A supplement containing BHBs and MCT oil was found to potentially assist in weight loss, though it was not considered the most effective ketogenic agent for weight loss.
This is how much it costs to start on the respective program. We always recommend trying a product before making a large investment.

Who Makes Leptitox?
Leptitox was created by Morgan Hurst and Sonya Rhodes of Leptitox Nutrition. There is absolutely no information available about who Hurst and Rhodes actually are. There is a Leptitox official website, but the site has no “About Us” section, and there is no information on the background of Hurst and Rhodes. There is also no Leptitox Better Business Bureau listing for either the company or the product.
Leptitox Customer Service
On the official website, Leptitox indicates that there is customer service for their product. Anyone with an issue can email email@example.com. Anyone with a billing issue can reach out to the company’s retailer, ClickBank, by calling 800-390-6035 in the United States or +1 208-345-4245 internationally. There is no indication of what type of guarantee the company offers on its products.

The website claims that Leptitox is a breakthrough treatment that can melt fat, especially belly fat, by creating leptin resistance. The company claims only natural ingredients are included, and the label states the pills are “veggie capsules.”
According to the label displayed on an Amazon link selling the capsules, the Leptitox weight-management capsules contain a proprietary blend of the following ingredients:
Also, inactive ingredients listed include gelatin, magnesium stearate, rice flour, and silicon dioxide. The last three inactive ingredients are more than likely stabilizing and drying ingredients. However, if the product contains gelatin, it should not be labeled as a veggie capsule since gelatin is made from animal byproducts.
Based on the product label on Amazon, the formula also contains:
Does Leptitox Work?
Each ingredient in the Leptitox weight management capsule includes beta-hydroxybutyrate, except caffeine. Beta-hydroxybutyrate is an energy carrier described in Diabetes Research in Clinical Practice as a metabolite that regulates cellular processes.
When it comes to weight loss, there is conflicting research. A large-scale review of research in 2018 shared that BHBs alone may not be as beneficial for weight loss as some research has shown, but that with the addition of butyric acid, there is a strong connection to increased weight loss through “appetite control and improved body mass proportions,” says research in the Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism.
Caffeine Anhydrous (50% Extract)
There have been few studies on the effect of caffeine intake and weight loss. Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism published the results of a study of 494 weight-loss maintainers, comparing them to 2,129 individuals from the general population. Researchers found that maintaining weight loss consumed significantly more caffeinated beverages than those in the general population. However, it is unknown if caffeine aids in weight loss or provides additional energy to maintaining weight loss with healthy lifestyle changes and exercise.
Leptitox and Weight Loss
There are no claims on the official Leptitox website regarding how much weight could be lost or fat burned by taking the capsules. There is no Leptitox customer review section on the site, and no section answers, “Does Leptitox really work?” However, online reviews are not kind to the product.
Reviews on Amazon, as of March 2021, give the product 3 out of 5 stars. Of those, only 33 percent give the product a 5-star rating, while 31 percent give it a 1-star rating and 12 percent give the product a 2-star rating.
One of the Leptitox customer review comments stated that they used the entire bottle before writing to ensure they were giving it a fair shot. They claimed that they were unable to exercise at the time, and this product claimed they would lose weight without exercising. They then stated that the product did nothing for them, that they lost no inches or pounds.
Another noted that it was nothing to rave about while one reviewer who gave the product a 5-star rating said they had not noticed any weight loss. Almost all of the comments said that the product did not work.
Leptitox Side Effects
For the most part, everything in the Leptitox capsule is organic, and the product does contain natural ingredients. However, even organic ingredients can lead to adverse reactions.
Caffeine can cause increased heart rate, flushing, jitters, feeling anxious or irritable, and headache.
How to Use Leptitox
According to the weight-loss supplement label, users should take two capsules per day. They should be taken 20 to 30 minutes before a meal with an eight-ounce glass of water for best results. The label states that pregnant mothers, children under 18, and individuals with known health conditions should talk to a healthcare provider before using it.
Cost and Where to Buy Leptitox
If you are looking to buy Leptitox, the product can be purchased directly from the Leptitox website or other online supplement sites. It is also available on Amazon. The average price for 60 capsules is $36-39.

The Bottom Line on Leptitox Results
The ingredients found in Leptitox have not been proven to have any significant impact on weight loss any stronger than a shot of espresso. The company also advertises the product as a veggie capsule when the label clearly includes gelatin. Customer review comments are not at all kind to this product. Rather than purchase something that does not work, you could improve your nutrition and become more active to battle fat and lower your weight.
