Endermologie Lipomassage Review - 5 Things You Need to Know

Give me just two minutes of your time and I’ll tell you whether or not Endermologie Lipomassage is worth a try. We checked into the details, side effects and clinical research. We looked everywhere for reviews, found multiple and read them all. Then we narrowed the info down to give you the bottom line.

What is Endermologie Lipomassage?

First off, Endermologie Lipomassage is a non-invasive cellulite treatment that’s supposed to work in as few as six treatments, though 20 or more are suggested in some cases. It is advised to schedule two to three sessions per week with one day between and each lasts up to 45 minutes.

LPG Endermologie is behind Lipomassage. It looks like the company has been around since 1996. You have to visit clinics in the UK to receive treatment. It doesn’t look like it’s available in the United States. We like that the process is non-invasive and we did find some happy patients, but read on…

Endermologie Lipomassage Price – “Way Too High for Some”

The Lipomassage price is the first thing that caught our attention. “One clinic lists the price as about $80 US per session. That’s a minimum investment of $480, but you’ll spend more like $1600,” says our Research Editor. There was also some confusion about how much is the right amount.

As one customer said, “I paid $500 for 20 sessions and saw NO difference whatsoever.”

Another user responded, “I agree that the price alone sounds sketchy. For 20 sessions, I would pay approx. $1,400.00 so $500 sounds too cheap.”

Results – “Not Much for Some”

We never like to say there’s a possibility a treatment won’t work, but that’s the case with Endermologie Lipomassage, according to some patients.

“The machines don’t work well. I don’t believe in machines,” one said.

Another shared “The only thing it did was make my legs itch really bad after the sessions.”

However, customers also reported seeing some results.

“She may have had 10 sessions. I can say for a fact that it worked,” said a man about his wife.

One more offered, “The cellulite is less visible definitely, but I don’t believe it’s the action of rolling that has taken it away.”

Over the years, we’ve found a strong connection between a small issue, like confusing prices, and a cut in your chances of long-term success. If Lipomassage costs one thing here and another there, customers may just walk away.

The Science – “Validated?”

LPG claims there are more than 125 studies completed on Endermologie Lipomassage. There is a long list of the publications, but you’ll find many have nothing to do with cellulite reduction. We did find a few, but there are some issues. Endermologie paid for some of the research and participant count wasn’t clinically significant in all cases – only nine people were used in one case. Here at DietSpotlight we need science to give us the green light, but it doesn’t this time, especially for the price.

The Bottom Line – Does Endermologie Lipomassage Work?

Have we already scheduled our first treatment? Well, Endermologie Lipomassage sounds like a good alternative to liposuction, but we have a few reservations. The price is not exactly set in stone and it’s awfully expensive anyway. There are reports that it just doesn’t work and it’s not available in the United States.

If you’re ready to get rid of those extra pounds, our suggestion is to try out a supplement that’s made with clinically tested ingredients in place of a treatment like Lipomassage. The price will certainly be less than $1600.

Among the best products we’ve seen this year is one called Dietspotlight Burn. You get four clinically tested ingredients that have been shown to help with metabolism and fat loss, so you reach your goal faster. We easily found tons of positive reviews from dieters who achieved amazing results and only a few reported any side effects at all.

Also, the people behind Dietspotlight Burn are confident enough in the ingredients to offer customers a special trial offer – nice!

Endermologie Lipomassage: What You Should Know

Lipomassage is a technology by Endermologie, which is a localized massage therapy to fight against fat, cellulite, and unwanted contours. The website claims that in just six treatments the patient's skin is reconditioned and cellulite is much less visible. This treatment is more geared toward women than men, perhaps as a marketing attempt. Cost information is not available on the website, and you must contact the office in Miami if you are interested. The company is based in France, and services in other country may be limited.

List of Ingredients

No ingredients.

Product Features of Endermologie Lipomassage

Lipomassage involves a new methodology called Roll'in Technology. This technology is divided into three different types of methods designed to address the various needs of patients. These three different technologies are: Roll'in, Roll'out, and Roll'Up. The technology has changed protocols over the years, and now involves the patient as she must contract and relax her muscles to "solicit" them during the massage session.

Roll'in is used for body slimming. The areas of excess fat are rolled between the two rollers of the massage device.

Roll'out is used for firming the skin. Areas of excessive, loose skin are smoothed outward with the rollers of the massage device.

Roll'Up is used for body contouring. The folds of skin are reshaped and designed in a manner more suitable to the patient with varying techniques and the speed of the massage rollers on the device.

Endermologie Lipomassage Advantages

  • Non-invasive procedure.
  • Addresses several different body areas and concerns.

Endermologie Lipomassage Disadvantages

  • Can fat disappear by massaging it?
  • No mention of health, just looking good.
  • Only available in the United States in Miami, Florida.

As a practice, this seems intriguing because it is a pleasant message, but it does suggest that the body is just something to be molded and changed to our suiting, to look as good, or as beautiful as we wish. The idea that the body may be changed with something like massage, rather than by good health and balanced diet with exercise, is somewhat bothersome. For those who cannot use this methodology, a better option is a healthy balanced diet with a good exercise program and plenty of water hydration. If you need a boost, look for a proven weight loss supplement containing both a thermogenic ingredient to burn fat and boost metabolism, along with an appetite suppressant to help curb cravings.

    • Tammy Gray

Sara, I have to tell you I also had that pouch of skin you have from a c-section years ago and unfortunately the only thing that will rid you of it is to get a tummy tuck. Thats what I did.

    • Maribel (Editor)

Hello Sara. All users are different and can experience different weight-loss results, but exercise in conjunction with a healthy diet and supplements have shown to help with weight-loss.

I am a 29 year old male and I have a slight lower belly. I am skinny but have lower belly now due to my diet of stake and sugary stuff. Will LPG Slimming Treatment work? Do they remove fat from lower belly also?

Hi Mohsin. You have to meet with one of the technicians for consultation for your personal goals.

I´m in my third session of Lipomassage, and I can definitely feel my back and arms thinner. It helps a lot to get rid of the fat that is usually harder to burn only with exercise, but you definitely need to drink a lot of water and eat healthy so you can see results.

  • Maryam

Hello, after three session lipomassage i have some pain in my kidneys.and every 10 minutes i feel i have to discharge urine .is it the side effect of lipomassage or a clinical problem .please advise me
    Thanks a lot

    • Cameron (Editor)

This is a uncommon effect if it is from the Lipomassage. As your regular doctor about your symptoms and what options are available to you. You may want to switch up your approach to weight loss and try a supplement, like Dietspotlight Burn, instead.

    • Candy

The massage may have moved a kidney stone.

  • lana

I have been only doing this procedure 4 times and I can definitely see results. I have got it done on my arms, inner thighs and belly and I can see there is less fat. Of course this won’t work if you don’t have a balance diet. While doing this procedure I’ve been eating 3 meals a day of high protein (like eggs, meat mostly fish and vegetables) and also stopped eating any type of oils including olive oil, bread or anything that has to do with flour and also sugar and fruits. Also exercising about an hour a day three times a week.
I’ve lost about 8lbs doing this.

  • Sifat

I saw my frnd who doing this..its amazing. .but my questions is i want to do also my lower belly is little bit fatty. I am 25 .if i do 5session it will work and after doing this it will be back?plz ans me.i live in French.

    • Cameron (Editor)

The massage claims to break up the cellulite or fat cells in your body making it easier to work off. Supposing you do lose the weight whether or not it comes back will depend on your ability to maintain the lifestyle and healthy habits.

  •  Loved the product.
    nbrown (Verified User)

My wife had sessions of the lipo massage. She may have had 10 sessions. I can say for a fact that it worked. Not only did the machine decrease the cellulite in her legs significantly, it also made her legs and butt feel really nice. I mean her butt has more tone and it’s very smooth and soft. I LOVE IT! I get to see her booty from behind every night! I get the best benefit. Love it! Love it! Love it!

  •  This worked well for me
    uberkmc (Verified User)

If you didn’t get results it is not the machines fault, either the technician was not properly trained or you failed to follow the recommendations to drink more water and work up a sweat within 24hrs after the treatment.
Also sime people take longer to respond.
It worked so well for me I became a provider!

  •  I definitely recommend LipoMassage
    tequilatamm (Verified User)

I’ve had a course of LipoMassage treatments, and I saw results after only 3 treatments.

I think perhaps it depends on your body and the reasons why you are “fat”.

In my case, I worked out from doing the treatments that I was retaining a lot more liquid in my body than I realized, and of larger benefit to me personally was the lymphatic stimulation and stimulation of blood flow rather than simply the loss of cellulite.

The cellulite is less visible definitely, but I don’t believe it’s the action of rollling that has taken it away, but instead that toxins generally are being moved out of my body better than before.

I tried the manual lymphatic drainage also to compare and contrast, and I can tell you that the LipoMassage does the same thing, only to a larger degree.

I definitely recommend LipoMassage if you feel that your ankles and knees swell a lot. It has certainly helped this problem for me.

I had a course of 10 treatments: 2 per week for 5 weeks. Now I am having another 10 once/week. I will then cut back to maintenance treatments 1 per month, indefinitely.

  • Manual process is better than machine.
    Juliana Roland (Verified User)

You’re right, the machines don’t work well. I don’t believe in machines, I do believe in manual Lipomassage.

    • Sue

The machines work amazingly! Sorry you had bad luck with an untrained therapist!!! I’ve been a Lipomassage therapist for seven years and I am here to tell you it does work… Just make sure you have a licensed Lipomassage therapist not just somebody that bought a machine online!!!

  • Client must understand his/her responsibilities
    Juliana Roland

I’m a Massage Therapist in New Jersey and also studied Lipomassage in my country – Brazil. Lipomassage is not just about looking good and forget the diet! The massage itself will never take the cellulite away if the client doesn’t change the way they see the body, what I mean is that the body has to be treated as a whole. The client needs to understand what cellulite is and why she has. By doing that they will start having a healthier diet, and the massage will be the complement to get their body in a better shape.
