Due to the lack of information they provide, our research team was concerned about the actual ingredients and uses. Our research team looked deeper into what is in Pre JYM and if it can meet up to claims. Here’s what we found.
First of all, Pre Jym is a pre-workout “powerhouse” powder for promoting muscle growth, ramping up energy levels, increasing strength and boosting endurance so you can enjoy longer, more intense workouts. This supplement powder is available in Pre Jym flavors such as black cherry, refreshing melon, strawberry kiwi, cherry limeade, raspberry lemonade, natural island punch, orange mango, and rainbow sherbet.
You’ll also find L-leucine (3g), Black pepper (piper nigrum) (5mg), Alpha-glyceryl phosphoryl choline (150mg), L-isoleucine (1.5g), L-tyrosine (1.5g), Huperzine A (50mcg) and Caffeine Anhydrous (300mg).
Note that this fitness supplement does contain 300 milligrams of caffeine per serving, so watch for side effects if you choose to use it more than once daily, especially if you drink caffeinated beverages such as coffee, tea and energy drinks. The directions warn against mixing Pre Jym with other caffeine products.
The Mayo Clinic says that up to 400 milligrams of caffeine per day appears to be safe. A basic cup of coffee contains about 100 milligrams while energy shots and drinks average around 200 milligrams per serving. According to Examine.com, creatine hydrochloride is a molecule that’s often added to supplements to help support cellular function and enhanced workout performance. It’s naturally found in (produced by) the body as well as in meats, fish and eggs.
A research from Current Sports Medicine Reports (CSMR) has shown that creatine supplementation can help improve muscle performance and boost workout intensity, especially for weight training.
Beta-alanine is a building block of the dipeptide carnosine. It’s often added to workout supplements to help improve overall endurance and exercise performance, as stated on Examine.com.

Amino Acids (Citrulline malate, Taurine, L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-tyrosine)
Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and they aid in muscle building and repairs. They also help by strengthening the immune system, supporting weight loss, boosting sperm quality, fighting signs of aging, reducing inflammation, and assisting with the health of nails, skin and hair.
An amino acid supplementation study in the journal Clinical Nutrition says, “There was a significant overall increase in lean body mass during the supplementation period. There was a gradual increase in lean body mass to a value of 1.14 ± 0.36 kg above the basal value at 12 weeks.”
N-acetyl-l-cysteine is a substance derived from L-cysteine (an amino acid). It is an antioxidant and is often used to treat Acetaminophen poisoning, according to WebMD.

WebMD states that this is a substance taken from a plant called Chinese club moss. It’s often used to treat conditions such as mental decline, and muscle weakness.
A potent powder form of caffeine, which is typically used in supplements. Caffeine is a stimulant and mild diuretic. It affects the central nervous system and may elevate energy levels, focus, concentration and performance.
According to MedlinePlus, caffeine is a natural stimulant and is taken from plants, such as tea leaves, coffee beans, guarana, yerba mate, and cacao pods.
Some research posted on Harvard Health Blog has shown that caffeine may help boost memory and thinking skills.
Pre Jym Taste
Many Pre Jym users have found the taste too sweet or unpalatable, but there are also several online reviews that suggest the taste is not too bad. After a certain point, taste is a subjective matter.

ConsumerLab clarifies that “this warning is legally required by the state of California for dietary supplements and many other products sold in that state which expose you to levels of one or more chemicals that may cause reproductive harm.
The list of chemicals that can trigger a warning includes hundreds of compounds but, unfortunately, the California law (known as Prop 65 or the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) does not require businesses to say exactly which compound is the reason for the warning.”
