Thyrovex Review - Does This Thyroid Support Supplement Actually Work? Are minimal results and discouraging user comments deal breakers?
Why are people talking about Thyrovex? We took the time to create one of our comprehensive reviews, examining the side effects, ingredients, clinical studies and level of customer-service quality. We additionally read dozens of user comments and remarks from around the web. At this point, we summed up all of the facts and feedback to give you the bottom line.
What is Thyrovex?
To start with, Thyrovex is touted as a thyroid support matrix. This over-the-counter supplement is claimed to support the thyroid gland, increase energy levels, slow down signs of aging, burn off fat, boost metabolism and build lean muscle mass. It contains iodine, kelp, selenium, l-tyrosine, and 3, 5 diiodo-l-thyronine. You need to take one capsule, twice each day. There is no special diet or exercise plan mentioned with this product.
We are not sure when Thyrovex was first released. However, this diet supplement is made by VPX Sports. It’s suitable for men and women, ages 18 and older. Furthermore, there is some helpful user feedback posted on the web, but read on…
Minimal Results With Thyrovex – “Is It Worth It?”
One issue we have is with Thyrovex minimal results. According to our Research Editor, “Some customers have stated that this weight-loss formula does not help with fat reduction as claimed. Naturally this is concerning.”
One user reported, “No effects from Thyrovex at all. Wasted my time and money on this.”
On the other hand, a different customer said, “Not sure about this one. I have been taking it for about three weeks now. Not seeing the results I expected, but will keep trying.”
Another commented, “It’s okay. I was intrigued by the Thyrovex ingredients. We’ll see how it goes. I will take it for a few months.”
Discouraging User Comments – “Another Concern”
Another concern is discouraging user comments. For instance, one customer said, “No results for me at all. Had some Thyrovex side effects like nausea and stomachache. Won’t take it again.”
However, a different person stated, “Been on Thyrovex for two weeks now. Not bad overall. It seems to give me an energy boost.”
“Just started using this one. I will report back in a few weeks,” mentioned another.
The extensive research we’ve done has shown if there’s some specific part of a diet product or program that is quite problematic (minimal results, discouraging user comments, side effects) the likelihood of long-term success is slim. In other words, if Thyrovex does lead to a long list of negative customer remarks, this could be a real problem.
The Science – “Any?”
Here at DietSpotlight, we prefer to see some actual research or studies that back up the weight-loss product we’re reviewing. In regards to Thyrovex, there is no solid science presented. Therefore we cannot really get behind this diet supplement.
The Bottom Line – Does Thyrovex Work?
So, should you whip our your credit card and order a bottle of Thyrovex? Well, first off, we appreciate that this formula is easy to use anywhere. It’s also nice to see that some helpful user feedback is posted online. On the other hand, we have some doubts about this supplement because it’s not backed by any published research or studies. Also, we’re concerned about the minimal results some customers have mentioned.
If you really want to shed some pounds, then we suggest you go with a product that contains clinically tested ingredients for weight-loss, is backed by plenty of positive user reviews and comes with excellent customer service.
Among the best products we’ve seen in 2016 is one called Leptigen. This formula contains a blend of four ingredients, which have been clinically tested and are shown to help speed up fat loss and boost metabolism. Moreover, we have not discovered any user complaints, and customer feedback posted online shows people are seeing real results.
The makers of Leptigen are so confident in their product they’re offering a Special Trial Offer, which is very encouraging.

What You Should Know About Thyrovex
Thyrovex is a thyroid supplement that claims to boost fat burning and metabolism. The trouble with thyroid-stimulating supplements is the fact that not all dieters need thyroid support and if there is a thyroid problem, a medical doctor needs to address the problem, not a supplement company. Thyrovex is not intended to replace medication for an underactive thyroid.
List of Ingredients
- 3, 5 Diido-L-Thyronine
The ingredient list is openly published on the official VPX website, but the product description leaves a lot to be desired. We wanted proof the ingredients in Thyrovex stimulated metabolism and fat burning, but no such proof was given. Dieters are left with a brief, one-paragraph description of how the supplement works without one link to a clinical study. The product warning is nearly as long as the product description. According to VPX, dieters should be healthy and over 18 years old to take the supplement. If you are currently taking prescription medications of any kind, this supplement is not for you.
As for the ingredients in the Thyrovex formula, we agree that iodine is needed for optimal thyroid function. Iodine can be found in most table salts, so there is no need to add more iodine in supplement form unless you are asked to do so by your physician. More iodine will not boost thyroid function if you are already consuming the recommended amount.
Kelp, on the other hand, has been shown to boost thyroid function in individuals with healthy thyroid function, but only in short-term studies. Long-term studies with larger populations are needed to support the results. In rat studies, 3, 5 Diido-L-Thyronine did support thyroid function by acting as T3. There is also clinical support for the use of selenium to support healthy thyroid function.
Advantages of Thyrovex
- Some of the ingredients in Thyrovex are clinically proven to boost or support healthy thyroid function.
- All ingredients are listed on the official VPX website.
Disadvantages of Thyrovex
- May not boost weight loss for healthy individuals.
Thyrovex - The Conclusion
We are not sold on Thyrovex as a weight loss supplement, but there are no stimulants in the formula and as long as you are healthy and not currently taking any prescription medications this supplement may be worth a try. When the thyroid is functioning properly so is metabolism, but that does not mean you will lose weight. Eating too many calories will cause weight gain even if your thyroid is functioning properly.
