What is Total Control?

To begin, Total Control ingredients include caffeine, pomegranate rind powder, oolong tea, ginger root, green tea extract and black tea leaf. This diet supplement is intended to stimulate metabolism, boost energy and alertness, and aid with weight-loss. You just need to take one tablet, three times a day. There is no specific diet plan involved. A bottle lasts for 30 days, and both women and men can use this formula.

From what we gathered, Total Control has been around since at least 2010. This diet formula is made by Herbalife Nutrition. This company was founded back in 1980, and they offer a variety of health supplements. Although this product is not available directly from the official website, it is sold on dealer sites like Amazon. Also, there is a 30-day return policy mentioned on the main website, but read on…

User Complaints – “Something to Consider?”

One issue we have with Total Control tablets is the user complaints posted on the web. According to our Research Editor, “Many customers have made negative remarks about this diet supplement. These comments can be found on distributor websites like Amazon.”

One customer said, “Did nothing for me at all. Not sure why I wasted my $39.”

However, not all users had discouraging things to say about this diet aid. One person stated, “Takes away my appetite some. It also gives me some extra energy, which is good.”

Another commented, “No nasty Total Control side effects to worry about. However, no actual weight-loss either.”

No Real Results – “Another Concern”

Judging from the customer reviews we found, some people experienced no real results with Total Control tablets. In fact, one person reported, “Not happy with this. No weight-loss whatsoever. Put simply, it does not work.”

Then again, a different customer revealed, “It will give you some energy. I think it’s the caffeine in Total Control pills.”

“My friend says it works for her. Not sure if it’s doing much for me,” said another individual.

According to our research, if there is a certain facet of a diet pill or program that’s quite bothersome or concerning (user complaints, no real results, adverse effects) the probability of long-term success is rather low. So, if Total Control tablets do in fact fail to produce solid weight-loss effects in a lot of people, this could be a deal breaker.

The Science – “Is There Any Provided?”

First off, Total Control pills do contain caffeine and green tea, which may help boost metabolism and increase energy levels to some degree. On the other hand, Herbalife does not present any clinical studies to support this weight-loss supplement. At DietSpotlight, we prefer to see some actual science that backs up the product’s marketing claims.

What Users Are Saying

"”Herbalife is changing my life, and I’ll swear by my Total Control tabs. The stuff works. With the tabs and shakes, I’ve lost 30 solid pounds and still counting! Great deal to buy this item.”"

"”A little bit of energy but didn’t see much of a difference in appetite.”"

"”I did not gain any energy from this product, nor did it assist with weight loss.”"

The Bottom Line – Does Total Control Work?

Now the moment you’ve been waiting for. Here is our bottom line on Total Control tablets. To start, we like that this diet formula contains herbal ingredients like green tea. We also appreciate that plenty of user feedback is posted online. On the other hand, we have some doubts about this supplement because it’s not supported by any clinical studies. Also, we’re concerned about the negative user comments and remarks we found on the web.

If you’d like to get rid of more excess weight, then we advise you to try a diet product that contains clinically tested ingredients, is supported by numerous customer testimonials and gives you plenty of bang for your buck.

Among the best products we’ve seen this year is one called Dietspotlight Burn. This formula offers a proprietary blend of four potent ingredients, which have been shown in documented clinical studies to help ignite fat loss and spark metabolism. We have not discovered any discouraging feedback online, and user remarks around the web reveal people are seeing wonderful results.

The makers of Dietspotlight Burn are so sure about their product they’re offering a Special Trial Offer, which is a positive sign.

What You Should Know

Total Control is a weight loss management system with supplements made by Herbalife. Purported to work on a cellular level, the Herbalife website states that the Total Control weight loss system will curb appetite, increase metabolism, and increase the breakdown of fat in the body thereby resulting in weight loss. The many online retailers that carry this product repeat these claims. Herbalife's website sells Total Control. They post no scientific data or clinical data about this product, but you can find clinical data on some of their other weight loss products. There are some testimonials from customers who state they had success with the system. Herbalife states that its products are developed by an in-house team of scientists. These scientists conduct tests and research on ingredients in order to create all of Herbalife's weight control products. They also have an advisory board staffed by a team of M.D.'s and P.h.D.'s that educate distributors.

Product Features

According to Herbalife, Total Control does not cause irritability or restlessness. Total Control also contains ginger, which Herbalife promotes to ease digestion. Herbalife's website has many FAQ's and articles written by David Heber, M.D., Ph.D., Chairman of the Herbalife Nutrition and Scientific Advisory Boards. None of these articles or FAQ's deal directly, or answer questions about, Total Control. Herbalife's website states that their manufacturing plants located in the United States are compliant with FDA standards. Herbalife conducts business in 65 other countries. They state that they are compliant with any food and drug safety regulations in these countries as well. Herbalife offers a 30 day money back guarantee on Total Control.

  • Total Control contains green tea which contains many beneficial antioxidants.
  • Total Control is usually on sale for around $25.00 on most third party retail websites.

  • This product doesn't contain a powerful appetite suppressant.
  • There is no clinical data provided on the official website related to this product.
  • Total Control has mixed reviews around the Internet.
  • The thermogenic ingredients present in this product are fairly mild.

Total Control is one of many different weight loss products created by Herbalife. This product in particular uses the fact that it doesn't contain ephedra or other powerful stimulants as one of its main selling points. We like the inclusion of green tea as it is a mild thermogenic that contains many beneficial anti-oxidants but there isn't much else in this product that makes it stand out. This product may help you lose a small amount of weight but there are many other products out there that contain more powerful thermogenic ingredients and would probably work a lot better.

i love my weight, I went in to get just a stomach fat burner today! And the woman gave me Total control, I’m pissed because I told her I didn’t want to loose weight! Just stomach fat. I’m so.. Disappointed because all I see it do. Is, make you loose weight! Not stomach fat!

The two issues are not separate. If you want to lose fat in the midsection it will result in overall weight loss.
