TruDerma Review - 5 Things You Need to Know

0comments

Why is it that so few diet products are backed by science? Let’s find out if TruDerma is one of these companies. We looked through the line at ingredients, side effects, clinical research and customer service. We also decided to take hundreds of reviews to heart. Then, we summarized it all to give you the bottom line.

What is TruDerma?

To start, TruDerma is a supplement company offering products like GastrobiPlex, Troxyphen and Mangodrin. Some ingredients include acacia arabica, blue green algae, citrus aurantium, caffeine anhydrous and black pepper extract. You take the formulas to lose weight, fight hunger and boost testosterone.

TruDerma is the name of the company. It was founded in 2011 in Las Vegas, NV. You can buy from the official website, but third-party retailers also offer some supplements. We like that a label is provided for all products and there are some good reviews, but read on…

Side Effects – “Should You Really Be Worried?”

Our first issue is with TruDerma side effects. According to our Research Editor, “We dug through multiple reviews for each product in the line and we found reports of adverse reactions for all. But, we also found people who didn’t experience any such thing.

“I would not purchase this product again, the side effects that I had were an upset stomach, diarrhea, and irritability,” shared one user.

Another explained, “I did get major a headache a few hours after using this product.”

Side effects were not an issue for every dieter who tried TruDerma products.

“I have been taking this for two weeks now with no side effects at all,” one customer happily shared.

One more experienced the same, “I have been taking this for only a short period of time and happy to report that I have not experienced any side effects at all.”

Results – “Anything to Write Home About?”

Results were not exactly part of the equation for every user, but you have to take a look at both sides of the story.

“I have not noticed a decrease in my appetite or extra energy bursts, but on the up side, this does not make me jittery or nervous either,” claimed a buyer.

One user said, “The diet book that it comes with is the part that works, the drops do nothing.”

On the other side of the coin people were happy with the results.

As one dieter put it, “I have no cravings for different food items that are unhealthy choices.”

Another explained, “Just a small amount before 2 meals, it’s so easy and doesn’t taste bad either.”

After years of research on hundreds of products, we’ve found a connection between small issues and a lesser chance of long-term results. If TruDerma products cause side effects or they’re not effective, the dieter will turn away from the line.

The Science – “Any Real Proof?”

There are clinical studies listed on the TruDerma website, but they aren’t as impressive as we’d like to see. One was on irvingia gabonensis, an ingredient in Mangodrin. After 10 weeks, the active group lost 1.5 pounds. GastrobiPlex, on the other hand, contains Lepticore, which is supposed to boost weight-loss. Unfortunately, the research may not be valid because the best results came with 600mg, twice daily and this formula does not contain that much.

The Bottom Line – Do TruDerma Products Work?

Have we already placed our order with TruDerma? Well, we like that a label is provided for each product and there are some ingredients, like caffeine and green tea, that can help with weight-loss, but we are hesitant to give the green light. The research doesn’t exactly support claims with 100% certainty. Plus, there are reports of side effects and ineffectiveness across all supplements.

If you’re ready to get that weight-loss started, our suggestion is to try out a product that’s made with scientifically tested ingredients and supported by strong, positive customer experiences.

Among the best products we’ve seen this year is one called Dietspotlight Burn. Unlike TruDerma, we are certain the formula contains the right amount of the clinically tested ingredients. There are few, if any, reports of side effects and reviews all over the internet talk about dieters seeing amazing results.

Plus, the company behind Dietspotlight Burn is so confident you’ll see results that they’re offering a Special Trial Offer.

What You Should Know

TruDerma sells some products for weight loss and weight maintenance – TruHCG, Gastrobiplex, TruTrim, MangoDrin and DermaSlim. Each product claims to help the dieter achieve weight loss goals, but none of the products are backed with clinical research. We looked through the entire website and despite claiming to be clinically proven, there are simply no links or references to clinical research published by a peer-reviewed journal.

The dieting market is a multi-billion dollar business. Companies can create a website and a fantastic product label in a matter of months. The FDA does not review these products, so it is up to the dieter to research all ingredients and potential side effects.

List of Ingredients

TruHCG – HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) 6X, 12X, 30X, 60X, L-Carnitine 6X, 12X, 30X, 60X. USP purified water, USP grain alcohol (20% by volume).

TruTrim – Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Chromium Picolinate, Mormon Tea, Caffeine, Salicylate, Green Tea Triple Blend. Proprietary Herbal Blend: Caralluma Fimbriata, Cayenne, Ginger Root, Bladderwrack, Citrus Bioflavonoids and Acai Berry.

MangoDrin: Green Tea Extract, Caffeine, Picamillion, Nettle Leaf Extract, Irvingia Gabonesis, Phenylethylamine HCL, Inositol Niacinate, Synephrine Caprylate and Yohimbe HCL.

DermaSlim: Purified water (aqua), cetearyl alcohol, squalane, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, hyaluronic acid, polysorbate 60, sodium laurate, lauroyl proline, butylene glycol, chenopodium quinoa seed extract, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin.

Product Features

TruDerma does not offer a lot of information on the products sold on the official website. We found no ingredient lists and no testimonials. There are no before and after photos or clinical research. The ingredient lists we found were located on third-party websites for companies. If a company is going to gain support and trust from the visitor and potential buyer, they need to offer some concrete information on supplements.

TruHCG is paired with a dangerously low-calorie diet. TruTrim claims to contain Ephedra. MangoDrin contains a cousin to ephedra and a mood-altering ingredient. DermaSlim is a lotion that claims to slim fat, but fat slimming lotions do not cause weight loss.

Advantages

  • Ingredients are found online.
  • Products are available for sale online.

Disadvantages

  • No ingredient lists on the official website.
  • Product may contain supplements banned for weight loss in the United States.
  • Slimming lotions do not promote weight loss.
  • Clinical studies are referenced, but not listed on the official website.

Conclusion

TruDerma is a flashy company with several weight loss solutions. They claim to have clinical support for the products, but that clinical support is not listed anywhere on the website. The products are quite expensive and the fact that TruDerma claims to use ephedra is a red flag. Dieters should not take ephedra for weight loss as it is linked several cases of heart attack and death.
